Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care in an outpatient office and on-call setting
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including OB/GYNs, FM/OB, and CNMWs
  • Manage deliveries, averaging 385 to 450 per year, with a C-section rate under 30 percent
  • Oversee patients through 36 weeks of gestation; refer high-risk cases as appropriate
  • Conduct surgical procedures, primarily on Tuesdays and Fridays (OR days)
  • Participate in call rotation, with support from certified nurse midwives and first assist
  • Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and workflow
  • Provide patient education and ensure quality standards in a rural health environment

Essential Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute end-to-end learning events—in-person and virtual—ensuring a seamless, outstanding learner experience from pre-event preparation through program close.
  • Serve as the primary learner-facing presence throughout in-person programs, creating a welcoming environment and delivering attentive support that prioritizes participant accessibility and engagement.
  • Prepare event logistics, including printed materials, swag, room configurations, and program-specific setup, ensuring every detail is thoughtfully anticipated and flawlessly executed.

  • Cultivate and maintain cross-functional partnerships with Events, Facilities, IT, and key business partners to co-create and deliver cohesive, exceptional learning experiences.
  • Partner with the Manager, TAG U Campuses before, during, and after learning events to ensure all spaces are on-brand, fully prepared, and reset between sessions to consistently uphold learner experience standards.
  • Support and operate learning technology for in-person and virtual sessions; train and coach L&D team members and business partners on relevant platforms to ensure consistent, capable delivery.
  • Maintain accurate learning records in the Learning Management System, including completion tracking and CE credit submission.
  • Flex into expanded coordination and learner support responsibilities during high-volume periods, and contribute to change management efforts by providing program coordination as needed.

You will be responsible for managing general anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, and ventilation for a range of surgical cases.

CRNAs in this role are supervised by MDAs, with a supervision ratio of 1:2 or 1:3.

Surgical Case Load : 25-30 general surgical cases per day No pain management cases Types of Procedures : General surgical cases (primarily adult) Spinal anesthesia Ventilation management No regional blocks are required, but spinals are a key part of the job Supervision Structure : You will be supervised by an MDA (1:2 or 1:3 ratio).

No ICU coverage is required.

Operating Room Setup : 5 main operating rooms 2 procedure rooms 1 OB C-section room Patient Demographic : Primarily adult and geriatric patients Occasional pediatric cases Trauma Level : Level 3 Trauma Center EMR System: EMR Used : Epic Familiarity with the Epic system is preferred but not required.

Requirements: Certification Requirements : NBCRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist)

- Required Licensure : Active Michigan license
- Required Experience : Candidates must be board certified or board eligible.
