The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add an experienced, enthusiastic clinical nutrition manager for a long term care community to our Healthcare team in Newtown Square. As a clinical nutrition manager, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of food service and healthcare professionals in maintaining the dietary health of residents.

What you'll be doing:
  • Coordinating clinical nutrition services. 
  • Interacting and communicating closely with the general manager, executive chef, and director of clinical nutrition services on matters of nutrition, patient services, and department and organization operations. 
  • Directing and supervising the inpatient and outpatient dietitians and dietetic technicians. 
  • Maintaining responsibility for clinical services, regulatory compliance, nutritional records, and staff nutrition education.

What we're looking for:

Must-haves: 

  • At least three to five years of professional experience in the field of dietetics in a leadership role. 
  • Must be a registered dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. 
  • Must be licensed to practice dietetics in the appropriate state(s).  
  • Previous experience with electronic medical record charting. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft software programs.

We are seeking a Nutritional Health Services Specialist to join our team. Your role will work under the supervision of the Manager of Nutritional Health Services. This position is responsible in cooperation with other kitchen staff for meal and snack preparation and maintaining the kitchen. This position will assist in food service preparations and distributions. In addition, assist with special events. As a member of the Nutritional Health Services team, you will work with other team members and report to our Manger of Nutritional Health Services.

  • Prepare meals and snacks according to assigned meals.
  • Check-in and assist in storage and inventory of food.

Position description

The Department of Nutritional Sciences and Toxicology (NST) in the Rausser College of Natural Resources at the University of California, Berkeley invites applications for a pool of qualified temporary lecturers to teach courses in Nutritional Science and related topics, should an opening arise during the academic year and in the summer. The Department of Nutritional Sciences and Toxicology focuses on the metabolic biology of nutrients and toxicants in relation to human health and disease. Our research and curriculum span a breadth of topics, from delivery of nutrients to mammalian cells and their molecular functions, through the influence of genetics on diet-associated human disease, to programs and policies that address human and environmental health and safety.



The department also offers a Master in Nutritional Sciences & Dietetics graduate program, which combines a strong foundation in the biological and chemical sciences with specialized advanced coursework that focuses on nutrient/non-nutrient function and metabolism. The application of this field informs recommendations for dietary patterns to achieve optimum health and the treatment or prevention of disease conditions as well as food production and safety.



The department typically seeks two different types of lecturer positions when available; one is to teach the courses for the Master in Nutritional Sciences & Dietetics graduate program (NST Dietetic Lecturer) and the other one is to teach the non-dietetic courses in the department (NST Non-Dietetic Lecturer). Screening of applicants is ongoing and will continue as needed. The number of positions varies from semester to semester, depending upon the needs of the department.



General Duties:

We are seeking outstanding lecturers who can teach/co-teach small, medium, or large lecture and/or laboratory courses. The primary responsibilities for NST Lecturer positions include:

* Delivering lectures and holding office hours

* Planning and preparing lessons; researching and developing new topics, teaching materials, and online resources

* Supervising Graduate Students Instructors (GSIs), if applicable.

* Mentoring students and contributing to departmental and program activities, if teaching in dietetics

* Coordinating lab preparations with the Teaching Lab Staff, if teaching a lab course

* Developing exams and projects and assigning grades

* Maintaining accurate records and monitoring students' progress, as well as addressing any special student needs

* Maintaining knowledge of, and implementing, college policies.

Position description

The Department of Metabolic Biology & Nutrition (MBN) at the University of California, Berkeley seeks applications for a Program Coordinator (Academic Coordinator I/Lecturer) for the Master of Nutritional Sciences & Dietetics (MNSD) program. The individual will serve as a key member of the academic administrative team and instructional faculty. The incumbent will collaborate with the Program Director to coordinate and implement the MNSD program. The incumbent will formulate educational goals, analyze educational outcomes, and refine curricula based on emerging pedagogical theories and accreditation standards.



Central to this role is the coordination and implementation of supervised practice rotations and other aspects of the program. This includes managing instructional schedules, overseeing on-boarding, and performance tracking, where the incumbent directs student performance within worksite training facilities to ensure mastery of core competencies.



The incumbent will contribute to strategic academic operations, including student recruitment, graduate admissions, student advising, the identification of preceptors to maintain a robust network of external partners, and planning social and educational enrichment activities.



To ensure student readiness for professional practice, the incumbent will design and deliver specialized workshops and structured instructional sessions tailored to the needs of students pursuing future practice as registered dietitians. This includes developing, planning, and supervising campus-based practice experiences and providing educational remediation for students requiring advanced support in areas such as clinical practice, counseling, foundational sciences, and management.



While students are in their internships, the incumbent facilitates weekly student meetings, and provides scholarly evaluation guidance on projects and assignments. This is the Lecturer component of the position.

The Associate is responsible for completing in-store pet food and non-food customer interactions with shoppers and their pets.
