This position will report to the site Health, Safety and Environment Manager. This position will support HSE management and transformation at the Yoplait plant in Murfreesboro, Tennessee ensuring integration of Safety 2.0 principles, processes, and metrics, and enabling operational learning within the manufacturing function.

As a part of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for managing critical Health and Safety risks and ensuring effective controls for conditions with Serious Injury/Fatality potential.

Act as a coach and advisor to the site, providing exceptional leadership and technical assistance in managing safety and health critical risks. Enables operational learning through application of human performance principles, while assisting the site in maintaining compliance with local regulatory and Company Safety and Health & Safety requirements.

From your EXPERTISE to our

Key responsibilities for this position include:

• Co-lead the site Emergency Response Program and coordinates with site teams and local emergency agencies.
• Provides support with Worker's Compensation case management at the local level and coordinates closely with corporate resources and insurance company representatives.
• Lead facility regulatory safety training and maintain required training records.
• Provides support to front line leadership in risk identification and mitigation.
• Ensure compliance relating to all state and federal regulations established for business unit's employees and existing equipment.
• Provide support for operational learning teams related to significant H&S incidents.
• Provide support on OSHA standards, incident analysis and other compliance initiatives to ensure the facility meets all corporate and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and audit chemical inventory annually
• Collaborates with HSE Manager to develop content, training plans, and documentation/tracking as required.
• Oversee and lead required safety inspections, PM's, etc. within our comprehensive HSE database (GSTEMS).
• Actively participate in site safety committees.
• Monitors facility performance against H&S goals and objectives then communicates results to Central Safety Committee.
• Assist in implementing controls that protect human health & safety.
• Provides support for Process Safety Management program (ammonia) on site to effectively control and manage hazardous chemicals and ensure compliance.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the design, integration, installation, and start-up of packaging lines for food and beverage industries. As a PM you will provide engineering leadership experience and a solid working understanding of process, utility, packaging systems, drafting (CAD), controls, equipment procurement, installation, training, and start-up. Qualified candidates will have a proven track record delivering projects on budget & schedule, managing complex scopes, managing client interaction & expectations, supervising contractors and being able to identify & help develop new business opportunities.

The vision for this role is to support machine safety projects across all markets that BW Design Group supports. We have an established Machine Safety Program that can deliver a complete machine safety solution for our clients. Our solution can include all aspects of a safety life cycle including assessments, safety standard/specification creation, detailed safety design, safety hardware procurement, safety circuit verification, mechanical guarding, implementation/integration, contractor management, project management and safety validation.

Responsibilities:

• Be accountable for all aspects of project execution including line layout, vendor/contractor management, equipment procurement, schedule management, project finances, site management and installation support.
• Define the required scope of supply for machine safety compliance and implement safety life cycle solutions from risk assessments through installation and safety validation.

• Lead the packaging line design, integration, installation and start-up of capital projects, including estimation, justification, budget, schedule, design, implementation, acquisition, installation, start-up, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Develop equipment design and specifications, design of equipment support systems, and bid analyses.
• Lead communications with vendors (OEM's) and contractors to implement automation solutions.
• Provide engineering solutions for continuous improvement objectives using industry standard tools and procedures (Change Control, ROI, etc).
• Evaluate existing packaging operations, and suggest and drive projects to provide immediate ROI and improve productivity.
• Identify and specify required tooling and/or packaging equipment for projects within designated timelines.
• Develop, maintain and grow solid client relationships.

What You'll Bring:

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent technical degree
• Minimum 7 years of project engineering/management experience with packaging systems and/or manufacturing automation applications.
• Experience in the food, beverage, household products or personal care industries strongly preferred.
• Experience in supporting and/or implementing machine safety solutions preferred. That experience can come from supporting projects/programs or through completing industry recognized machine safety certifications (i.e. CMSE - Certified Machinery Safety Expert, FS Technician / Engineer (TV Rheinland) Machinery).
• Excellent engineering and leadership skills as well as the ability to simultaneously organize, and successfully execute multiple project responsibilities.
• Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact within both engineering and operational environments with both clients, and suppliers.

The Environmental Health and Safety team is seeking an experienced Sr. Manager of Safety, you will serve as a site safety manager supporting site leadership. You must be highly determined to drive permanent removal of hazard root causes and strive for the highest quality of service is provided in an efficient, effective, and proactive manner. • You will identify trends and areas of risk within your building and support operations in corrective measures
• Continuously improve the safety culture through instruction and training of Safety and Operations leaders on safety programs.

Safety Processes:

Compliance and regulatory matters

As Sr. Safety Specialist, you will join forces with the Manager of Safety and Loss Prevention to head up workplace safety initiatives for one of our distribution center operations! You will be on the front lines of production and immerse yourself in the trenches to promote HelloFresh's vision, inspire change, raise the bar on safety performance, and champion a culture of safety!

You will...

• Work with integrity and the utmost regard for the safety and health at HelloFresh
• Provides subject matter expertise either through education, training, and/or experience in multiple areas including environmental management, compliance, occupational safety, risk management and/or occupational health
• Ensure OSHA compliance within a HelloFresh/Green Chef Facility including but not limited to: Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT's); New Hire safety training and ongoing safety training; Lockout/Tagout, Machine Guarding and Chemical Safety; all necessary recordkeeping and reporting including OSHA 300 Logs
• Assist management team during accident or injury investigations and root cause analysis
• Act as the management team's subject matter expert for safety and security questions
• Ensure visibility of HSE initiatives at the site level (Behavior Safety, Safe Work Permit process, Safety Observations, Near Miss, etc) to all levels of operations management and recommend improvements in effectiveness. SENIOR SAFETY SPECIALIST

The Senior Safety Specialist reports directly to the Vice President of Safety and Team Development but will maintain and plan daily schedule with the appropriate Project Manager(s). The Senior Safety Specialist must possess a higher level of integrity, discipline, accountability, and professionalism than their peers. They must be a steward of the Buesing Corp Company culture, Inversion and Perspective-Based Safety, and must always display the Company Core Values (Behavioral Excellence, Safety, and Teamwork). The Senior Safety Specialist must work well unsupervised and have above average written and spoken communication skills.

FIELD SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with project leadership, safety team members, and General Contractor staff to maintain high levels of quality work performed safely
• Conduct field safety audits of Buesing project sites and provide relevant feedback to appropriate personnel
• Attend select Toolbox Talks, stand downs, and safety celebrations
• Provide replacement PPE and necessary safety equipment to field operations
• Assist with incident investigations and subsequent reports
• Properly maintain assigned equipment, including company vehicle, electronic media, and PPE
• Facilitate drug and alcohol testing when deemed appropriate by management
• Assist with post employee injury related matters, including facilitating clinic visits, employee transportation, and follow up appointments
• Provide fill-in duties for qualifying Team members when necessary

ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage inventory of safety related items, including item procurement and proper invoicing
• Maintain incident chronology and ensure appropriate corrective/preventative actions are completed
• Provide applicable safety-related training to employees
• Work closely with the HR, Recruiting, and Training representatives to ensure Team congruity and proper record keeping

Position Summary: The successful employee in this role is accountable for the environmental, health, and safety functions for the home building facility. This role implements and ensures compliance with environmental and safety training activities and programs intended to create a safe and healthful workplace. This position influences plant GM, PM, Area Coordinators, Team Leaders, and Team Members to improve plants' environmental and safety efforts. The employee in this role works with Home Office management with respect to environmental and safety training programs as required. This role monitors and maintains environmental, safety, and health programs for plant team members.

Duties / Responsibilities:

Environmental:

• Maintain all record keeping and conduct activities necessary for environmental compliance (monthly material usage record keeping, storm water, air permitting, etc).
• Walk through with environmental consultant (STRATA) personnel during scheduled visits. Complete Annual Stormwater and other required training.
• Champion the ISO certification/surveillance efforts to include leading the EHS Committee and participating in the Objectives and Targets Team Meetings
• Lead the ISO Coordinator and, when not available, conduct their duties (see Environmental/ISO Coordinator job description_

Health

• Champion the team's health efforts by working with wellness coordinators to promote good eating habits, physical fitness, and mental health.
• Set a great example for the team by continuing to improve one's personal wellness

Safety / Workers' Compensation

• Conduct and complete the Injury and Illness report with the injured team member, Area Coordinator, and Team Leader or Manager after completing a thorough accident investigation.
• Ensure post-accident drug screens are completed as required.
• Call in, fax, or e-mail First Report of Injury to Broadspire within 24 hours of the accident, or sooner.
• Act as workers' compensation liaison and participate in quarterly reviews of loss runs. Complete and maintain OSHA 300 Log record keeping.
• Administer the company's Return-to-Work program, including the transitional employment teams.
• Report to Home Office EHS Director monthly reporting numbers: (OSHA entries for the previous month, Lost Time Accident, and OSHA streaks in number of days).
• Administer the workers' compensation program, which includes working with the company's insurance carrier to reduce lost time and fraudulent claims, case management, and communications with team members.
• Maintain active involvement in teams' safety committee functions by coordinating monthly meetings and inspections, ensuring the recording of minutes, and coordinating changes based on committee feedback and inspection results.
• Walk through with property carrier loss control personnel during scheduled visits. Provide a written plan of action within 30 days to the property carrier representative and the Home Office EHS Director.
• Walk through with Fortier loss control personnel during scheduled visits and complete all corrective actions within 30 days or less.
• Conduct regular safety meetings with area coordinators and team leaders to review and discuss each group's accidents and injuries. Identify ways to prevent recurrence of accidents by reengineering, changing the process, or providing personal protective equipment.
• Conduct facility inspections to detect existing or potential safety hazards and make recommendations regarding corrective or preventive measures to management.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable OSHA standards and regulations, such as Hazard Communication,
• Lockout/Tag out, Bloodborne Pathogens, Hearing Conservation, Emergency Evacuation Plans, etc., utilizing the Home Office EHS Director as a resource.
• Ensure compliance with company and home building facility policies and procedures relating to Scissor Lifts, Fall Protection, Line Roll, Hitch Lock, Hot Works, Suspended Loads, Saw Safety, etc., utilizing the
• Home Office EHS Director as a resource.
• Participate in and follow up on the investigation of work-related injuries/illnesses, on-the-job accidents, or near misses as required.
• Complete Near Miss and/or Lost Time Accident Case studies and send to Home Office EHS Director.
• Administer Hearing Conservation Program.
• Conduct annual Job Hazard Analysis and provide feedback to all affected teams.
• Ensure team members who are First Responders are trained in First Aid, CPR, and AED; and are certified by State and Federal laws as required.
• Maintain current MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) master binder. Provide individual binders for the designated teams in the manufacturing facility.

Training

• Develop and conduct required OSHA training programs on plant work practices, safety precautions, and procedures as required.
• The Safety and Health Manual requires updating, ensuring procedures are consistent with written programs.
• Make necessary changes as needed and keep the team informed.
• Maintain team member records for all completed safety training.
• Develop and conduct safety training as required by State and Federal law, regulations, etc.
• Ensure all forklift, tractor, and other associated powered industrial truck operators are effectively trained and licensed to operate safely as required by OSHA and applicable State and Federal laws.
• Conduct effective New Hire Orientation safety training.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies or related field.
• 3-5 years of related experience.
• Bilingual Spanish-speaking is preferred, but not required.
• General understanding and knowledge of federal, state, local, and company regulations and standards applicable to Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Occupational Health and Safety (OSHA) practices and programs, state workers' compensation programs, and ISO program familiarity.
• Experience in safety culture and industrial environment strongly preferred.
• Great people/leadership skills required.

Safety, Health & Environmental Manager

The Safety, Health & Environmental Manager (SHE) will provide oversight, directions, and be accountable for the ongoing development and continuous improvement of the Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) programs for dsm-firmenich manufacturing operations in Anaheim, CA. Additionally, will be responsible for the SHE management of the overall site including offices and laboratories. They will also serve as the site's initial point of contact for safety and environmental related questions.

Your key responsibilities

• Responsible for supporting and providing process maintenance and continuous improvement for all safety programs of the Anaheim, CA location, which include hands on assistance, program implementation, training, and organization of monthly meetings and inspections.
• Ensure adherence to all management systems including, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, OSHA and FSSC 22000, with an understanding of dsm-firmenich's SHE Policies and Procedures. Responsible that these policies and procedures are implemented throughout the organization and all related activities under the position's jurisdiction. Leads site SHE-S audits and environmental programs to assure compliance and continuous improvement.
• Responsible for regulatory compliance related to hazardous materials management, hazardous waste management (both chemical and biological), wastewater, and DOT regulations (Local, State and Federal). Interfaces with regulatory agencies and authorities as appropriate.
• Records and tracks injury and safety related data to derive performance metrics for analysis of trends and reporting metrics to upper management. Shapes proposals on how to help foster positive trends while mitigating negative trends.
• Supports line management and promotes a culture of safety in manufacturing, office, and laboratory environments.
• Provides guidance and support which ensures compliance for the safe work permitting process (e.g., hot-work, lock-out tag-out try-out, work at height, ergonomics, hazardous material), including writing and issuing permits. Auditing all documents related to the permits.

Your bring

• BS/BA/MS in Scientific or Engineering discipline; a degree in Safety, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene or related discipline is preferred.
• 5+ years of SHE experiences making decisions which affect employee health & safety or facility compliance along with experience in managing laboratory operations.
• Must have demonstrated knowledge of all applicable California and federal EPA, OSHA, and DOT regulations and experience in auditing compliance thereto.
• Practical experience in health, safety and environmental areas including lockout-tagout-tryout, work at heights, lifting and hoisting, inspections and audits of the safety program, root cause analysis, health risk assessment, risk reduction training, hazard communication, industrial hygiene, etc.; proven track record of success establishing meaningful, interpersonal relationships through the ability to influence, with personnel at all levels.
• Must have ability to effectively communicate safety, health, and environmental processes and requirements, including experience with computer-based training systems, Microsoft Word (i.e. procedure documentation and formatting), Excel (i.e. creating workbooks, writing formulas with functions) and PowerPoint (i.e. creating slides for training and presentations).
• Preference for candidates holding active safety certification (CHMM, ASP, CSP). Must be able to support and facilitate 24/7 response to emergencies related to facility operations and safety/security events

The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant's job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary $95,000-$150,000.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Field Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives on large concrete construction projects. This role is responsible for promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and supporting field teams to maintain a safe, productive work environment.

The Field Safety Manager is highly visible on the jobsite, spending the majority of time in the field coaching crews, identifying risks, and reinforcing safe work practices.
