Position Overview

The Office Manager plays a vital role in the daily operations of the Environmental Learning Center. This position serves as the administrative hub of the organization and works closely with the Executive Director, staff, students, parents, volunteers, and community partners.

The Office Manager ensures that the administrative, financial, and communication systems of the ELC operate smoothly and efficiently. This includes supporting program registrations, maintaining participant records, assisting with financial tracking, coordinating communications, and helping manage the many details that keep the organization functioning successfully.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Operations

• Serve as the primary administrative contact for the ELC office

• Communicate with students, families, staff, and community members via phone, email, and in person

• Maintain accurate and confidential participant records

• Assist with program registration, group assignments, and participant communications

• Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems

Financial and Bookkeeping Support

• Collect program fees and donations and maintain accurate financial records

• Track donations and assist with donor acknowledgement letters

• Assist with accounts payable processes and submit invoices through the district financial system

• Maintain and utilize accounting software (QuickBooks or similar) to track financial activity

• Help maintain records related to ELC funds and accounts

Communications and Outreach

Office and Program Support

- $1,890 per week Number of Positions: 2 Dress Code: Red top, black bottom scrubs Role Type: Travel Nurse, Operating Room / Perioperative RN, Trauma / Emergency Department support Job Requirements Active RN license (Georgia license or compact preferred) Minimum 1 year of recent OR or trauma nursing experience Required certifications: TNCC, PALS, ACLS, BLS Preferred: ENPC Strong IV skills, central/arterial line familiarity, and rapid critical thinking in high-acuity settings Ability to work well under pressure and collaborate with trauma surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams Experience documenting care in Meditech EMR preferred Responsibilities Lead trauma nursing care during initial primary and secondary survey periods in the Emergency Department Assist with mass transfusions using Level 1 rapid infuser and manage transfusion protocols Provide perioperative and OR assistance as needed for emergency and scheduled cases Perform IV placement, spinal stabilization, splinting, chest tube assistance, traction, and assist with central/arterial line placement and emergency bedside procedures Accurately document patient care and interventions using Meditech EMR system Collaborate with physicians, trauma team leaders, and allied health staff to deliver high-quality patient care Why Augusta, GA?
