The Wellness Empowerment Center provides upstream, innovative, and relevant programs, services and initiatives to help students and employees thrive. The team creatively designs prevention and education efforts to promote, nurture, and enrich the Georgia Tech community of health, well-being, and caring. Services include health and well-being educational programs, events and workshops, nutrition counseling, and sexual violence prevention, education and response.
Job Summary
The Dietitian role will develop and implement nutrition programs and services for the Institute community. Provides one-on-one consultation services to students related to general nutrition, eating disorders, and body image. Develops, implements, and assesses nutrition, body image, and eating disorder programming including large events, presentation requests, and outreach initiatives. Involves providing medical nutrition therapy and nutrition education and advocacy for the campus community, patients, and student groups, participating in menu planning and in program marketing and outreach efforts.

Responsibilities
Job Duty 1 -
Provide nutrition counseling (primary and preventative interventions) and follow up care to students through self-referral or medical referral. Provide medical nutrition therapy as required based on treatment plan. Includes assessment, treatment, evaluation, and nutrition education. Must follow HIPAA and FERPA guidelines throughout the entire nutrition counseling process.

Must provide inclusive services to students that are focused on a health-at-every size approach, Intuitive Eating, and non-diet weight inclusive approaches.

Partner and consult with campus dining services to provide support with menu planning, promotional/orientation activities and outreach to students with nutrition concerns.

Develop and present health education and promotion programs, training, workshops, social media, and outreach initiatives on nutrition education and body positivity.

Collaborate with staff on departmental and interdisciplinary projects. About the job:
The Cook is responsible for preparing, working with, and delivering food according to the nutritional needs of the patients and residents. This position will provide a variety of hot and cold food items for various meal periods to include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Special/Catered Events. The Cook provides food and customer service to the patients, nursing home residents, independent/assisted living residents, and personnel while maintaining high standards of quality, sanitation and safety. Position Purpose
The Clinical Nutrition Supervisor, under the direction of the Mercy Director Food Services and Nutrition and the Trinity Health Food and Nutrition Services (FANS) Regional Clinical Nutrition Manager (RCNM), is responsible for the day-to-day administrative functions and supervision of clinical dietitians, dietetic technicians and diet office activities. This position involves direct patient care of assigned units/areas providing optimal nutrition care by effectively identifying age specific patient needs, assessing nutritional status, designing appropriate care plans and monitoring to maximize clinical outcomes according to established department policies. The Supervisor is responsible for communicating to/from the Director and RCNM to the clinical nutrition team in addition to interacting with interdisciplinary team members as a nutrition resource.
What You Will Do
- Supervises the day-to-day activities of the clinical nutrition and diet office staff to ensure efficient operation of clinical nutrition and patient meal service functions at Mercy Medical Center and Weldon Rehabilitation Hospital.
- Works under the leadership of the Director and RCNM to ensure that the nutritional needs of all patients are met through inpatient clinical dietetic functions.

- Together with the Director and RCNM interviews, hires, trains, evaluates performance, productivity, clinical competency and disciplines and discharges subordinate personnel. - Establishes and maintains positive relationships with health care providers, department and units, and ensures good communication with his/her colleagues by coordinating monthly meetings and continuing education opportunities.
- Performs all patient care duties related to medical nutrition therapy in accordance with hospital patient care policies and as outlined in the dietitian job description.
Minimum Qualifications
- Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in human nutrition required; Master's degree and/or leadership experience preferred. Three (3) or more years of dietitian experience in an Acute Care setting required.
- Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist in the state of Massachusetts required. Allergen Awareness training/certificate and Serv Safe Management training/certificate preferred.
- Work requires the analytical ability to collect information from diverse sources, synthesize a problem list and to devise/implement intervention.
- Work requires the ability to coordinate work flow activities of colleagues within assigned unit/department and to collaborate with the RCNM on issues and programs that impact assigned unit/department.

- You will be identifying and associating metals, alloys and filler metal by color code and standard markings.
- You will be producing welds to the acceptance standards of NDT, strength, tightness or pressure tests.
- You will be using test methods for determining metals or alloys.
- You will be inspecting completed welding projects.
- You will be using various welding machines and welding processes to weld piping parts or structures.
