POSITION – Process Engineer
Reporting to the Technical Director, the Process Engineer will collaborate with a talented team of engineers and scientists to help develop and manufacture cutting-edge Myrias Optics components and systems. Specifically, this position will support Myrias’ nanoimprint ink development efforts, working with our process and characterization teams to optimize the formulations and process conditions to enable imprinted optical devices with high performance, high yield and new functionality. This position will also be responsible for transitioning the technology to our manufacturing team whose goal will be to bring a high volume, high yield nanoimprint process to market for our optical components and subsystems. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and capable engineer to gain expertise in the growing fields of meta-optics, waveguides, and diffractive optics. Together, we can shape next-generation optical systems for consumer devices, AR, medical instrumentation, automobiles, robotics, and more.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Process and formulation development:
- Work closely with the Myrias process, characterization and manufacturing teams to develop and optimize ink formulations meeting product requirements and production standards
- Work with our manufacturing team to transitioning fabrication knowledge and processing techniques for all-inorganic nanoimprinting to high volume production, including formulations, stamp making and imprint processes
- Assist with fabrication of components and systems based on Myrias’ proprietary materials and processes meeting quality and optical performance specifications
- Conduct comprehensive nanoimprint ink tests and optimization, including formulation, imprinting, and post processing (calcination, ashing, etching, atomic layer deposition and/or overcoating)
- Performing metrology for fabricated components by top-down and cross-sectional scanning electron microscopy, variable angle spectroscopic ellipsometry, UV-Vis-NIR spectrometry and contact angle measurements
- Work with Myrias optical characterization team to feedback optical test results into process optimization efforts to enabling a closed loop process
- Familiarity with characterization and testing of optical devices, including the use of lenses, mirrors, light sources, fiber optics, cameras, lasers, and other optical devices is a strong plus
- Establish detailed and thorough documentation for all operating procedures and production processes
- Assist in expand Myrias’ fabrication capabilities by identifying and implementing new process improvements
- Development and maintain comprehensive database of research data, sample/product travelers, characterization and yield data, and sample histories
- Provide technical guidance and feedback to management for more efficient workflow
- Create detailed internal reviews and customer product reports
- Assist in providing customer support for new designs and products
- Monitor and participate in safe clean room practices
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, material science, electrical engineering or equivalent technical discipline. A Master’s degree is a plus, Ph.D. Preferred
- 5+ years of industrial experience working with optical materials
- Strong understanding of chemical engineering, processing and optical testing and metrology
- Expertise in imprint or nanofabrication processes
- Experience with atomic layer deposition systems, high temperature oven, etching tools, ashers and evaporation tools
- Expertise with standard characterization tools like scanning electron microscopy, variable angle spectroscopic ellipsometry, UV/Vis/NIR spectroscopy and laser table characterization
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex datasets and validate system performance
- Experience with document control best practices

Job Summary:
The Analytical Lab Intern plays an integral role in product development and growth of the PFX /Prestone Organization. The responsibilities include the setup, testing, and documentation of analytical testing including physical properties and wet chemistry testing, based out of the PFX/Prestone Danbury, CT site. The PFX/Prestone Technology Center Analytical laboratory also performs ICP, HPLC/UHPLC, and GC/GC-MS testing on automotive consumer products. The Analytical Intern will be expected to run a variety of analytical tests in a demanding fast-paced environment with the internal R&D team as well as external partners to support the development of products, and solve problems based on the needs of the business.
Position Description:
We are currently seeking an applicant interested in an internship position in the Prestone Technology Center conducting analytical testing to support research activities, production, product stewardship, and technical growth. A person who is pursuing a chemistry undergraduate degree is preferred. Job assignments are varied; thus, flexibility is essential.
This is a fully on-site position based at our Danbury, CT location that will be offered during the Summer 2026, lasting for approximately 10-12 weeks. Work schedule is Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week. No housing or relocation assistance provided.
As part of the Research and Development team an intern must be able to work on multiple R&D or Development test items simultaneously. Duties include but are not limited to running and monitoring analytical laboratory testing equipment, and conducting wet chemistry tests to evaluate automotive products, with supervision. An interest in automobile technology is highly desirable.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current enrollment in undergraduate program.
- Must be able to follow instructions, work independently and safely in a laboratory environment and work on several projects at the same time.
- Completion of an analytical instrumentation course is a plus.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

The Program Associate, NS, functioning as the Community Engagement Liaison, will serve as a liaison to internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to victims, government agencies, hospitals, and community organizations in order to develop a more robust outreach, engagement, and evaluation function as it relates to the provision of OVS services to victims of crime in New York State. Specific duties include but are not limited to:

The Opportunity
This is TYR’s most senior AI role. The Director of Artificial Intelligence will lead the company’s AI strategy, own the technical roadmap, and be accountable for AI’s impact on revenue, growth, and competitive advantage.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer or Chief Executive Officer, this leader will build TYR’s AI function from the ground up, initially as a hands-on individual contributor. The Director will define the strategy, infrastructure, and operating framework that will shape the company’s technological future. As the function matures, there will be an opportunity to build and lead a dedicated AI team.
The Director will operate as a peer to other functional leaders, with the authority to drive AI adoption across the organization, including ecommerce, marketing, sales, supply chain, and operations.
The primary commercial focus of this role is TYR’s digital business. Ecommerce and marketing are the highest-priority domains, and the Director will be expected to deliver measurable results in these areas first. This leader will transform TYR’s digital storefront into a personalized, AI-driven shopping experience and help evolve marketing into a precision, data-driven growth engine.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned AI practitioner who can operate strategically while remaining deeply hands-on — someone who has built and deployed high-impact AI products in ecommerce, retail, or consumer environments and can confidently influence senior leadership.
Core Responsibilities
Enterprise AI Leadership
Serve as the single point of leadership for artificial intelligence across TYR. Define the company’s AI vision, establish strategic priorities, and oversee architectural and investment decisions. Develop and maintain a multi-year AI roadmap aligned with TYR’s growth strategy, and communicate progress and outcomes to executive leadership.
Establish the processes, governance frameworks, and technical foundations necessary to scale AI innovation across the organization.
Ecommerce Intelligence and Personalization
Lead the transformation of TYR’s digital storefront into a personalized and intelligent shopping experience.
Develop and deploy recommendation engines that surface the right products to the right customers across the digital journey, including homepage, product pages, cart, and post-purchase interactions. Build AI-driven search and product discovery tools that improve findability and reduce friction in the purchasing process.
Design dynamic pricing and promotion models that optimize both margin and conversion, leveraging behavioral signals, purchase history, and inventory data.
Develop a unified customer intelligence platform that enables TYR to understand, predict, and influence customer behavior across the full lifecycle. These capabilities should drive improvements in conversion rates, average order value, customer retention, and lifetime value.
Marketing Intelligence and Growth Automation
Partner closely with TYR’s marketing leadership to elevate the effectiveness and precision of marketing efforts through AI.
Develop advanced customer segmentation models that move beyond demographic targeting to incorporate behavioral and predictive signals. These models will power more intelligent audience strategies across paid media, email, SMS, and social channels.
Implement generative AI solutions that support dynamic content creation, including personalized ad copy, email messaging, and product descriptions. Establish automated testing and optimization frameworks to continuously improve campaign performance.
Develop marketing mix and attribution models that enable real-time optimization of spend and improved return on ad investment. Build predictive models that support customer acquisition, retention, and churn prevention.
Sales Enablement and B2B Intelligence
Support TYR’s wholesale and B2B channels by developing AI-driven sales enablement tools. This includes predictive lead scoring, account health insights, and deal intelligence systems that help sales teams prioritize opportunities and strengthen relationships with key retail partners.
Technical Execution and Partnerships
Initially operate as a hands-on technical leader responsible for building and deploying AI solutions across TYR’s priority initiatives. Lead the full model lifecycle, including data ingestion, feature engineering, model development, deployment, and monitoring.
Act as TYR’s primary liaison with AI technology vendors and platform partners to ensure the company leverages best-in-class tools and infrastructure. As the AI roadmap expands, the Director will help define and grow the supporting team.
Responsible AI and Data Governance
Establish and maintain TYR’s framework for responsible AI and data governance. Ensure that models and data systems adhere to principles of fairness, transparency, and privacy while complying with relevant regulations including GDPR and CCPA. Monitor production systems to mitigate bias, protect data security, and maintain high standards for model performance and accountability.
Qualifications and Experience
- 10+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field with a strong record as a hands-on practitioner
- Proven experience deploying AI solutions in ecommerce, retail, or direct-to-consumer environments with measurable business impact
- Ability to operate at an executive level and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to senior leadership
- Strong understanding of ecommerce or consumer business models and the ability to connect AI initiatives directly to business outcomes
- Deep technical expertise in machine learning, data science, and AI systems architecture
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive adoption of AI across an organization
- Experience leading or building technical teams is a plus
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field preferred; MBA a plus

DUTIES
Initiate own technical programs, solve complex technical problems using both internal and external knowledge data bases, bring high technical credibility in field of expertise to the organization, recognize all aspects of DOE needs in filed of expertise, lead teams to solve complex technical problems.
Apply technical experience in field of specialization or broad-based experience in multiple technical fields, and use other technical resources within the company, to resolve complex problems.
Incorporate advanced technical practices and a variety of complex features such as complicated technical requirements, application of new or special materials or processes and difficult coordination or oversight requirements into problem solving and program planning.
Provide leadership in determining solutions to complex problems and be recognized as having expertise in a functional areas of technical expertise.
Recommend engineering/ technical research programs for others in group and assist in that planning. Develop solutions to complex technical problems in fields of expertise, be responsive to organization needs in answering complex problems where judgment also has to be applied, organize and lead task teams to solve problems and fully utilize technical resources within the company, at assist in solutions. Additional Duties
Support the DOE Nuclear & Criticality Safety Engineering organization in the development, review, and implementation of nuclear safety documentation for various facilities at the Savannah River Site. Provide technical assistance in developing nuclear safety documents and analyses, technical safety requirements, and related technical support documentation. Ensure that the developed nuclear safety documentation complies with requirements and as necessary, applicable controls are implemented in field procedures. Conduct Nuclear Safety Program assessments and maintain program manuals.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Education: Typically, an advance degree and experience -A Ph.D. degree and about 12+ years' experience, OR a MS degree and 15+ years' experience, OR a BS degree and about 18+ years' experience.
