Job Summary

The School of Aerospace Engineering ( ) at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for multiple tenure-track faculty positions. Applicants will be considered at all ranks and in any technical areas of relevance to aerospace systems, interpreted broadly. These areas include artificial intelligence and dynamical systems.

Typically reporting to the School Chair, the Professor is a tenured/tenure-track faculty member who performs a combination of teaching, research, and service. Professors may hold administrative appointments as long as the majority of their time is dedicated to teaching, research, and service. Professors hold a terminal degree and have normally spent three or more years at the rank of Associate Professor.



Responsibilities

  • It is an exceptionally dynamic period in the aerospace community with many opportunities for research discoveries and new technology development to shape the future of the field in aviation, space exploration, and vertical lift.
  • We seek exceptional applicants motivated to "Create the Next in Aerospace" by performing innovative research and creating inspiring learning environments at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Emphasis will be placed on the originality of the applicant's work, and its potential impact on the field.
  • Those applying for Associate and Full Professor positions should have established records in research that demonstrates nationally and internationally recognized expertise. Along with undergraduate and graduate teaching, each position requires a balance of research and service responsibilities.


Required Qualifications

An earned Ph.D. or Sc.D. in Aerospace Engineering or closely related field is required by the start of the appointment.

Job Summary

The Kwong lab in the Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for a non tenure-track research faculty position in Laboratory for Synthetic Immunity.

The Laboratory for Synthetic Immunity (LSI) is an interdisciplinary research group in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech & Emory School of Medicine. Founded in 2014 by Director Dr. Gabe Kwong, the mission of LSI is to pioneer the next wave of immunotherapies and diagnostics to intercept diseases at an early stage and develop treatments that drive deep responses to meaningfully improve patient outcomes.

We are currently seeking exceptional individuals to join our research group as a Research Scientist. The successful candidate will be a motivated and creative individual that will pioneer new categories of immune biosensors that leverage design principles from synthetic biology and cell engineering for early cancer detection. They will take a lead role in experimental design, execution of experiments, and interpretation of results to achieve the major objectives of the project.

The successful candidate will thrive on teamwork and collaboration. They will embrace a fast-paced environment and work closely with lab members to cultivate a positive and inclusive environment. Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the director and lab members in experimental design, bench and animal studies,
  • Play a lead role in regular internal project meetings and data reviews.
  • Provide research expertise to aid lab trainees including graduate students, and undergraduates to achieve their research objectives and degree milestones.
  • Work with the lab director and university officials in grant administration, project budgets, and scientific reporting.
  • Play a lead role in drafting manuscripts and grant applications.


Required Qualifications

Research Scientist I

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field

Research Scientist II

  • A Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field, and three (3) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of that degree, or
  • A Master's degree in chemical engineering or related field, and five (5) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of a Bachelor's degree, or
  • A Doctoral degree.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, Immunology, or related fields with deep expertise in cancer immunology and/or biosensors.
  • Expertise in the design and testing of sense-and-respond biocircuits for cancer therapy or diagnostics.
  • Proficiency in cell and molecular biology techniques including sterile technique, cell culture, chromatography, electrophoresis, and flow cytometry.
  • Proficiency in animal studies including live animal imaging, animal handling and drug administration, necropsy and cell isolation.
  • Skilled in molecular cloning, lentivirus production, T cell transduction, protein production and purification.
  • Experience with T cell isolation, tumor inoculation; isolation, and dissociation of mouse tumor xenografts.
  • Experience with qPCR, next-generation sequencing (NGS) library preparation, NGS data analysis is plus.
  • Proficiency with statistical software like SPSS and/or GraphPad Prism.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, time-management, and collaboration skills are required.
  • Demonstrated desire to mentor graduate and/or undergraduate students.

The School of History and Sociology (HSOC) is a uniquely interdisciplinary unit with an intellectual culture of cross-pollination between sociological and historical scholarship as well as work in science and technology studies. Job Summary

The College of Sciences (CoS) and the College of Engineering (CoE) at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia invite applications for multiple tenure-track faculty positions in the field of solar-terrestrial science and/or space weather. Applicants will be considered at all ranks, though there is a particular focus on the Assistant and Associate ranks. Areas of interest include but are not limited to the Earth's ionosphere and magnetosphere, space weather forecasting and resilience. Applicants with research interests in any or all of sensors and observations from ground or satellite instruments, data analysis and data science, modeling and theoretical research, are all welcome to apply. The position will be supported by the National Science Foundation under the Faculty Development in geoSpace Science program. This unique faculty search is being pursued by a joint effort of two Colleges, enabling candidates across a broad range of backgrounds to apply. The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth invites applications for multiple tenure-track faculty positions in the life sciences and biotechnology. The Biology Department in the College of Arts and Sciences is seeking candidates with a teaching and research focus in biotechnology, genetic engineering, synthetic biology, or molecular biology, whose research crosses boundaries of traditional life science disciplines and addresses questions of broad significance. Research focusing on questions in the marine environment, using marine model species, or addressing fundamental biological questions with potential relevance to life sciences is of particular interest. Job Summary

The Scheller College of Business at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia, seeks applications for a research-focused Postdoctoral Fellow in Information Technology Management (ITM). The initial appointment is for one year and may be renewed for up to two years, depending on satisfactory performance. The role involves close collaboration with the ITM area faculty on mutually selected research projects. Two preferred areas of focus for our group are:

Studying the application of LLMs in online multisided platforms, such as the design and optimization of LLM-powered advertising mechanisms, and strategic interaction between platform participants. We are particularly interested in how LLMs influence user engagement, attention allocation, and economic outcomes on digital platforms, including auction-based advertising markets and dynamic information environments.

Developing economic frameworks for data valuation and privacy in business applications, including topics such as federated learning, copyright-preserving generative models, data marketplace pricing, and incentive-compatible privacy mechanisms. This line of research aims to connect information economics, machine learning algorithms, and market design, to address practical concerns in decentralized data governance, trustworthy machine learning, and platform strategy.



Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include :

  • Work on high-impact research projects, from conceptualization, data collection, and data analysis to manuscript preparation and publication.
  • Teach one 3-credit course each year.
  • Perform related services based on the needs of the ITM area


Required Qualifications

  • A Ph.D. or equivalent degree in information systems, economics, management science, computer science, statistics, operations, or other related quantitative and/or social science domains

About the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Georgia Institute of Technology

The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Georgia Institute of Technology is one of the largest producers of electrical engineers and computer engineers in the United States. Almost 2,600 students are enrolled in the School's graduate and undergraduate programs, and in the last academic year, 801 degrees were awarded. Job Summary

The Research Engineer II will support and lead semiconductor fabrication, advanced packaging, and heterogeneous integration activities within the IMS Cleanroom Facilities. This role involves hands-on process development, tool ownership, and research execution across TSV/TGV processing, electroplating, wafer thinning, planarization, CMP, and MEMS/sensor fabrication in a multi-user research environment.


The position supports collaborative research initiatives involving materials development, interconnect technologies, high-density integration, and system-level packaging solutions for next-generation electronic and sensor platforms.



Responsibilities

Support heterogeneous integration research through materials selection, interconnect process development, and multi-layer device integration.

Develop and optimize process flows for TSV/TGV fabrication, copper electroplating and RDL formation, wafer thinning (grinding), planarization and CMP, advanced packaging integration, and MEMS/sensor fabrication.

Design and execute experimental studies, analyze process data, and establish stable, documented baselines to ensure reproducibility and reliability.

Serve as technical owner for fabrication and packaging tools (e.g., DRIE/ICP systems, electroplating systems, grinding and CMP tools, and thin-film deposition systems)

Train and support academic and industry users on cleanroom processes and equipment.

Troubleshoot process and equipment issues and coordinate maintenance and continuous improvement efforts.

Collaborate with faculty, students, and industry partners on prototype development, sponsored research activities, and technical deliverables.



Required Qualifications

For Rank of Research Engineer II

  • A master's degree in science, engineering or related area, and three (3) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of that degree, or
  • A master's degree in science, engineering or related area, and five (5) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of a bachelor's degree, or
  • Doctoral degree


Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in semiconductor fabrication and advanced packaging process development.
Hands-on expertise in several of the following areas: DRIE/ICP etching, thin-film deposition (ALD/PVD/CVD), electroplating, TSV/TGV processing, wafer thinning, planarization, CMP, or packaging assembly.
Experience with high-aspect-ratio via processing and copper fill optimization.
Background in heterogeneous integration or wafer-level packaging.
Experience in MEMS or sensor fabrication.
Prior experience in an academic cleanroom or semiconductor R&D environment.
Demonstrated ability to support research projects and contribute to technical documentation, reports, or publications.

The Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a Medical Physicist to join our ACR accredited Radiation Oncology team consisting of 6 Radiation Oncologists, 4 Medical Physicists, 4 Medical Dosimetrists, and 16 Radiation Therapists across three campuses. The three campuses work independently, however the physics staff work together on special projects and assist each other as needed.

Interested candidates must have a M.S. or Ph.D. in Medical Physics and American Board of Radiology (or equivalent) certification, or complete certification within 3 years of hire (based on ABR timeline standards).

The Radiation Oncology Departments across the three main campuses (Mount Carmel Grove City, Mount Carmel East, and Mount Carmel St. Ann's) are equipped with 3 Varian TrueBeams as well as 1 CyberKnife S7. Each department has a dedicated Canon Large Bore CT Simulator with Respiratory Gating functionality. Treatment planning software include Eclipse, Oncentra, Accuray Precision for CyberKnife, MIM, and Velocity. The Grove City campus is the home for the HDR program and utilizes an Elekta Flexitron afterloader. Mount Carmel Health System has a single ARIA Record and Verify database environment, which facilitates cross coverage. Other equipment and procedures offered in our system include 3D, IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, HyperARC, 4DCT, DIBH, OSMS, and HDR.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintaining and executing the Radiation Oncology Quality Assurance program, ensuring compliance with all radiation safety policies, guidelines and regulations
- Provide quality control checks and oversight of treatment plans to assure accurate treatment delivery including patient specific QC
- Assist with acquisition and evaluation of new equipment
- Development and implementation of new treatment techniques
- Participation in Clinical Trials
- Consult with Radiation Oncologists, Dosimetrists, and Therapists to ensure safe and effective treatment of patients.
