Responsibilities: Performs complex piping design and stress analysis of ASME BPVC Section III Class 1, 2, and 3 piping systems using the Bentley AutoPipe computer program in accordance with the requirements of NB, NC, ND-3600, respectively.
Performs piping design and stress analysis of ASME BPVC Section III Class 1, 2, and 3 piping components using the ANSYS computer program in accordance with the requirements of NB-3200.
Performs pipe support design and stress analysis of ASME BPVC Section III NF supports using hand calculations or ANSYS computer program.
Performs static and dynamic analysis including response spectrum and time history analysis to calculate stresses due to deadweight, thermal expansion, thermal gradients, seismic events, and fluid transients.
Certifies design specification for ASME BPVC Section III Piping and/or Piping Supports Prepare and review engineering specifications, drawings, CAD models, and other documentation that communicate the design and technical aspects of piping components associated with NSSS systems.
Collaboration with drafters and requires the engineer to reviews models that have been developed in Siemens NX.
Leads the evaluation of design solutions (piping re-route, reconfigurations of supports, etc.) which satisfy piping stress criteria.
Provides oversight and mentoring to early career engineers in piping stress analysis and/or pipe support analysis.
Education / Experience: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or nuclear engineering is required (advanced degree is preferred).
PE License in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering is required.
Certifying Engineer experience to ASME BPVC Section III is required.
15+ years of highly relevant, full-time engineering experience is required.
Experience with the qualification of piping systems including ball joints is desirable.
Subject Matter Expertise in one or more of the following areas: Engineering design and piping stress engineering analysis in the nuclear industry.

Job Duties

Role Summary
The Corporate QA/QC Manager is the single corporate authority for quality assurance and quality control across Hermanson’s fabrication and field installation activities. The role owns and governs QA/QC systems supporting piping fabrication, structural steel, skids, sheet metal, plumbing, and general mechanical installation, with an initial and primary emphasis on piping and fabrication shop operations.

This role establishes durable, auditable quality systems that project teams inherit and execute. It is a corporate leadership position, not a project inspection role.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Corporate QA/QC Ownership
- Serve as the company-wide authority for QA/QC, welding, and fabrication quality
- Establish and enforce a unified QA/QC framework across all mechanical trades
- Maintain sole interpretation authority for applicable codes, standards, and company requirements
- Exercise stop-work authority for quality or compliance issues
2. Fabrication & Piping Focus (Initial Priority)
- Own and lead QA/QC system implementation and certification compliance for fabrication shops, with an initial emphasis on piping, skids, and structural steel.
- Ensure shop practices, welding, inspection, and documentation align with approved procedures
- Establish traceability, inspection points, nonconformance, and corrective action processes
- Prepare fabrication operations for audits and owner/EPC review
- Stabilize and integrate AWS, AISC, and ASME programs into one coherent system
3. Certification & Code Compliance Leadership
- Own and maintain quality programs supporting:
- AWS welding requirements
- AISC (STD) structural steel certification
- ASME (B31.1 power piping with Section IX welding only)
- Lead certification applications, audits, surveillance, and corrective actions
- Act as primary interface with auditors, Authorized Inspectors (AI), owners, and EPCs
- Ensure certification scope remains disciplined and free of unnecessary expansion
4. Welding Program Management
- Own the corporate welding program including:
- WPS, PQR, welder qualifications, and continuity
- Alignment between AWS and ASME Section IX requirements
- Ensure welding practices in the shop and field conform to approved procedures
- Determine appropriate use of third-party CWIs, NDT, and specialty inspection services
5. Multi-Trade QA/QC Standards (Phased Expansion)
- Establish corporate QA/QC standards for:
- Sheet metal fabrication and installation
- Plumbing systems
- General mechanical installation work
- Define inspection points, documentation expectations, and acceptance criteria by trade
- Phase implementation to avoid overloading projects while improving consistency
- Audit projects periodically for compliance with corporate standards
6. Training, Audits & Continuous Improvement
- Train shop personnel, project managers, superintendents, and foremen on quality requirements
- Implement nonconformance reporting, corrective action, and root cause processes
- Conduct internal audits and readiness reviews prior to external audits
- Drive continuous improvement across fabrication and field installation
7. Cross-Functional & Strategic Support
- Support estimating, procurement, and operations with code-compliant execution strategies
- Participate in risk reviews where quality, fabrication approach, or certification impacts scope
- Advise executive leadership on quality risk, capability gaps, and future certification needs
Qualifications (Required)
- 10+ years experience in fabrication, welding, piping, or mechanical construction quality
- Demonstrated experience leading QA/QC programs at a corporate or multi-project level
- Proven ownership of audits and corrective actions (AISC and/or ASME preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of piping, structural steel, and mechanical installation practices
- Ability to operate effectively with executives, shop leadership, and field teams
Certifications
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI): Preferred
- If not held, must be able and willing to obtain within 12 months (company supported)
- Experience with ASME or AISC audits is strongly preferred

Position Overview
This is not a traditional compliance-focused in-house role. The Founding General Counsel (there is one attorney on staff, but not at GC level) will serve as a core member of the deal team, leading transaction execution from diligence through closing and post-closing reporting within an active public company structure. The ideal candidate is execution-oriented, commercially minded, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. This role is best suited for an attorney who prefers building and structuring transactions over reviewing them.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead legal due diligence for complex and special situations transactions
- Structure and draft PIPE transactions, reverse mergers (RTOs), asset purchase agreements, and charter amendments
- Prepare and manage SEC filings, including 8-Ks, Super 8-Ks, Form 14C, S-1, and S-4 filings
- Direct and manage outside counsel while maintaining primary ownership of transaction execution
- Partner closely with the founder and investment team throughout the full lifecycle of each deal
- Establish governance and legal infrastructure for a newly formed public-market platform
To ensure alignment with the execution-heavy nature of this role, qualified candidates should have:
- 5–10+ years of U.S. capital markets and/or M&A experience (top-tier law firm or public company in-house strongly preferred)
- U.S. capital markets experience (New York strongly preferred), with additional exposure to cross-border or Asia-based transactions viewed as a significant plus, enabling them to navigate complex public company matters in both domestic and international markets.
- Significant public company experience, including IPOs, PIPEs, RTOs, and SEC reporting mechanics
- Demonstrated experience drafting and structuring complex public company transactions
- Hands-on preparation and oversight of SEC filings (S-1, S-4, Super 8-K, Form 14C, etc.)
- Ability to execute independently rather than operate solely in a review capacity
- Comfort working in a lean, high-intensity, build-phase environment
- Experience advising on regulatory and public company compliance matters

Job Responsibilities

What You Will Do
Sales Enablement & Training
- Develop and implement training resources that support the onboarding and development of Pro Outside Sales Associates
- Create scalable training materials including short-form videos, presentations, and enablement documentation
- Partner with Lowe’s University and internal training teams to build structured enablement content
- Identify skill gaps within the sales organization and recommend targeted training solutions
Program & Project Management
- Lead cross-functional initiatives that support the Pro sales organization, ensuring projects are delivered on time and effectively adopted by the field
