GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
The
Director, Social Investment
is responsible for managing a team of paid social experts that activate and manage social campaigns across all social platforms. You will be trusted to oversee a growing client portfolio and collaborate with other team members to deliver innovative solutions to the book of business. This role will also be focused on helping Rise drive revenue growth through three core areas:
Partnering with the Account Management team mapped to their respective portfolio of accounts to retain current business through delivering a remarkable experience and superior results.
Working in full collaboration with the Account Management team to grow pre-existing Rise revenue through uncovering and tactically up-selling strategic client growth opportunities, an emphasis on cross-channel or full-funnel growth initiatives
Supporting new business revenue growth by partnering with Business Development, Account Management, Media Strategy and other channel leaders on new business initiatives
As part of accomplishing the above objectives, the Director, Social Investment will be expected to successfully and fluidly operate across a wide variety of internal and external situations ranging from coaching internal channel managers on complex strategic initiatives, to pitching C-Level client contacts on new business opportunities, to working with Client Partners to craft compelling narratives in order to sell-through strategic growth initiatives.
In addition, this individual must be well-spoken, have strong presentation skills, understand client relationship/risk management, be comfortable managing a high performance team and overseeing large complex accounts with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced work environment.
The right candidate will be passionate about social media and its importance in the consumer journey and marketing funnel. They must have an astute understanding of the social landscape - including all channels, technologies, platforms, etc. and be a leader promoting collaboration and ideation.
As a supervisor, the Director will oversee employee development and retention, including training and goal setting, and lead the team in ensuring ensuring that the tactical execution of media planning, placement, and reporting (including post-buy and financial reconciliation) are handled with accuracy and timeliness. Additionally, this individual is an expert at process / project management to efficiently create processes that can be scaled across multiple accounts or teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establish a center of excellence that efficiently executes paid social initiatives while driving innovation aligned to business goals.
Develop and execute social strategies for both evergreen and event-based campaigns, working closely with internal / external stakeholders
Provide strategic guidance to clients; anticipate and address client needs and challenges; plan and develop measurable programs that are on strategy, within budget and exceed client objectives marked by clear success criteria (pre and post campaign) and benchmarks
Develop social strategies utilizing knowledge, experience, and strong analytical skills to extract insights from campaign data and provide well-developed quantitatively based recommendations to accomplish client goals and objectives
Optimize targeting, segmentation, and performance across product categories, audiences / personas, and industries, continuously analyzing data and making recommendations for improvement
Drive digital marketing innovation by harnessing AI-driven automation, emerging technologies, and cutting-edge industry best practices to position Rise as a leader in social
Manage financials, including budget allocation, client billing, team billability and account profitability
Deliver insightful and persuasive presentations to clients and prospects
Own execution accuracy across all team members
Responsible for managing a team of direct reports (remote and across all Rise locations) with accountability for all aspects of team oversight, including employee onboarding, employee training, employee performance (accountability and behavior), employee retention
Overall control of workflow and assigned responsibilities within the team; oversee the progress of all projects and provide assistance, where necessary, to ensure timely completion; quickly and tactfully troubleshoot employee and client issues
Collaborate with leadership and peers to develop solutions that will enhance our operational efficiency, tools, and systems, and improve current workflows
Be a thought-leader; proactively advise on social trends, tools, technologies, and recommend direction for investment and implementation; seek opportunities to vet and test new technologies
Partner with the Director, Partnerships to cultivate strong relationships with social partners, including responsibility for JBP stewardship, as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Appropriate education and / or experience may be substituted on an equivalent basis
Education:
Bachelor’s degree (communications, marketing, advertising, or business)
Ability to speak, read and write the English language
Certifications:
Certificates in Meta, TikTok, Snap, YouTube required; experience with other social / social adjacent platforms a plus (X, Reddit, LinkedIn, Pintrest, etc.)
Experience:
10+ years relevant work experience in digital / social marketing; agency experience a plus
5+ years of experience tactically managing campaigns in-platform
Experience in / familiarity with additional digital channels (Programmatic, SEO, Affiliate, or Paid Search) is a plus
Expert usage of Microsoft Office suite, with strong emphasis on Excel
Experience building media plans and determining budget allocation on a yearly and monthly basis using different forecasting methodologies
Experience developing, managing and leading high performance teams required

Travel:
Employees can be expected to be paid an annualized salary range of $120,000-$130,000, based on variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions.

The role of a Media Planner will be to assist with day-to-day operations of the client media plan and budget details, including flowchart, budget trackers, ensuring client signs accurate, timely Media Authorizations prior to buys. The Media Planner will be responsible for monitoring client and marketing industry trades, media plan performance reporting and competitive activity to surface industry updates, performance insights and opportunities to team and clients.
Responsibilities
Portfolio & Growth
- Attend client status meetings: take notes, summarize next steps, provide to Supervisor/Manager for approval before distributing bullet pointed list of job holder's main responsibilities.
- Build relationships and trust with partners in Mediahub's Partnership Investments, Audience Science, Campaign Insights, Insights + Action and Radical + Disruptive, in addition to extended Mediabrands and Kinesso specialty teams.
- Monitor client and marketing industry trades, media plan performance reporting and competitive activity to surface industry updates, performance insights and opportunities to team and clients.
Media Strategy
- Support 1-2 accounts, pending scale and complexity of business and scope of deliverables.
- Research and develop media plan scenarios for assigned clients.
- Partner with Local Investments, Kinesso and Partnership Investments on development of partner list, RFP details and evaluation prior to client recommendations.
- Support presentation development with research, creating check-ins throughout timeline, participating in discussion, and contributing to/prepare/write slides for client presentation decks.
- Partner with analytics team to implement measurement objectives and taxonomy.
- Support campaign implementation and execution, QA, monitoring/optimizing, and conduct insightful reporting.
- Utilize IGNITE planning strategy process (Implement business intelligence, generate multiple audience segments, Navigate the investment, tap into culture, Evolve with speed and precision) as part of client teams, to guarantee robust analysis of business/media role.
- Visualize, summarize, and develop insights and implications for competitive reporting.
- Gathers, organizes, and presents (pending leader's readiness assessment) competitive research and spending data.
- Utilize planning tools (i.e. Kismet, R/F, etc) to determine the optimal media mix (across all channels) and plan delivery.
- Employ media math and how to apply calculations, demonstrating proficiency in working with and managing numbers.
- Maintain updated costs and media plan details in Media Tools (or client flowchart software).
- Confirm client media authorization approval for Partner Investments and Kinesso to set up buys, issue Insertion Orders, reconcile buys and traffic assets to vendors.
- Provide assistance with Billing Process, updating team status documents and working across the internal cross functional teams (Video Investments, R&D Labs, creative, etc.).
- Ensure familiarity with Insights + Action and Radical + Disruptive capabilities, process and approach to support integration into media plans.
- Contribute ideas that contribute to creative media tactics.

Required Skills & Experience
- Experience planning or buying, while developing additional acumen of cross-channel media marketplace and planning essentials (delivery levels, flighting, etc.), including Video/Audio Broadcast/Streaming, Direct and Addressable Digital, Social Media, Retail Media (if applicable), Print, OOH, etc.
- Able to demonstrate the ability to successfully multi-task while preserving high attention to detail, manage time and show superb organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal, written and presentation skills and ability to think on your feet.
- Strong mathematical abilities
- Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledge of DCM, Prisma, comScore, MRI.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in a scientific, health, or program management discipline preferred. PMP or equivalent certification desired.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in senior program strategy and delivery leadership roles across federal, academic, and private-sector environments.
- Program Leadership: Extensive experience program management, PMO leadership, governance, financial management, and large-scale delivery enablement.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong background in life sciences, clinical research, bioinformatics, health informatics, and public health.

About the role:

THE POSITION:
The most important aspect of the position of the Associate Director of Global Medical Affairs is being responsible for managing complex projects across medical content development, Medical / Legal / Regulatory (MLR) Review, Medical Affairs (MA) Operations & Excellence, etc. This role also serves as both Client Manager and Project Manager for these projects. Additionally, this individual will be part of the MA leadership team that will support development of MA strategies, solution offerings, technology / innovation, and building and managing MA teams. This person will collaborate closely with other global leaders within our Global Medical Information and Medical Affairs service line and other business units across EVERSANA to further strengthen the vision of an Integrated Medical Affairs solution offering. Qualifications

We're hiring independently-licensed and junior-licensed clinicians. The below licenses are the senior-license equivalent, and we may be able to provide licensure supervision to junior-licensed individuals as well:

This can either be a contract/1099 position or a W2 position.
A contract position allows you the flexibility to schedule sessions and work wherever you are most comfortable. We request that our clinicians be able to dedicate a minimum of 12 hours per week to facilitate group sessions and take on individual and/or family sessions.
W2 position requires full time availability with some availability in the evenings and Saturdays required to facilitate group sessions and take on individual and/or family sessions.

The total target base compensation for this role will be between $53,000 and $75,000 per year at the commencement of employment. In addition to base compensation, this role offers a target performance-based bonus. The target total cash compensation range, including potential bonus, will be between $57,000 and $80,000 per year. Please note, pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location, experience, expertise, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Further, cash compensation is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may include stock options and other Charlie Health-sponsored benefits.

This can either be a contract/1099 position or a W2 position.

The total target base compensation for this role will be between $53,000 and $75,000 per year at the commencement of employment. In addition to base compensation, this role offers a target performance-based bonus. The target total cash compensation range, including potential bonus, will be between $57,000 and $80,000 per year. Please note, pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location, experience, expertise, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Further, cash compensation is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may include stock options and other Charlie Health-sponsored benefits.
