Director of Engineering – PLM & Data Governance

The Director of Engineering – PLM & Data Governance is responsible for the strategy, architecture, governance, and operational reliability of the organization’s digital engineering ecosystem. This role oversees Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), CAD configuration management, and engineering data infrastructure.
This leader ensures that engineering artifacts such as CAD models, bills of materials, specifications, requirements, revisions, and engineering change records are accurate, secure, compliant, and accessible across the organization. The role also supports the development of a consistent digital thread connecting product development, manufacturing, and lifecycle support.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering Systems Ownership
- Provide strategic direction and lifecycle management for PLM, CAD configuration management, and related engineering platforms.

We are looking for a Project Manager to work on-site at a client facility in Sistersville, WV. This contract is estimated to last approximately 1 year or more, with the potential of extension to permanent full-time employment. Client facility is a chemical plant and will require the Project Manager to manage multiple capital projects at a time. Candidates for this position should have large-scale plant and industrial chemical experience. This is an ON-SITE position and remote candidates cannot be considered.
The Project Manager is responsible for managing all activities for Professional Engineering projects in accordance with the project schedule and budget. POSITION:
Reporting to the Vice President for Operations, the Assistant Vice President of Engineering and Energy is responsible for visionary and strategic energy services and programs for Columbia University. This position will direct, strategize, and implement energy management and engineering services for the campus buildings and Central Energy Plants totaling 9 million square feet. This includes master planning, conservation efforts, managing renewable energy portfolios, strategic procurement of natural gas and electricity, central plant oversight, State of Good Repair (SOGR) program management, and other engineering and energy-related strategic initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required. Master’s degree in Engineering, MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
•Ten years of experience in utility infrastructure, university utility and facilities operations preferred; ten years of experience in related field.
•Demonstrated experience managing the operation and maintenance of central utility plants preferred.
•Minimum of seven years of environmental / sustainability experience including implementing environmental or sustainability programs, resource management, environmental initiatives, or equivalent experience.
•Demonstrated experience with energy, water, and waste conservation in buildings.
•Skilled in budget preparation, financial management, and analysis.
•A flexible, problem-solving approach to leadership.
•Demonstrated effective leadership skills within a complex, multilayered organization.
•Ability to think strategically and drive priority initiatives through the organization.

Position Description
The client is hiring a Project Manager for our Combat Mission Systems (CMS) business in Temple, TX. The Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the Bradley A4E1 program management team, by managing vehicle and hardware deliveries on time and within budget. This position is full-time onsite at our facility in Temple, TX and reports to the Bradley A4E1 Program Manager. Location/Schedule/Travel: • This role is fulltime onsite in Temple, TX • The role works a 9/80 schedule where you will have every other Friday off • There may be up to 20% travel This Project Manager is accountable for all on-site program activities of the US Army Bradley post production integration efforts, including the following: Supporting the program to achieve cost/profitability, schedule, and technical performance objectives with a high level of customer satisfaction Establishing program direction and indirect management for the matrixed team executing the scope (Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Contracts, Finance and/or others) Effectively managing and integrating program complexities including multiple production elements Proactively planning for activities on the current contract. Actively and effectively managing risks and opportunities. Making timely and ethical decisions with sound judgment while complying with the contract, policies and procedures. Continuously improving project performance including capturing, evaluating, and applying lessons learned. Act as primary point of contact between Client and the customer, suppliers, and key customer stakeholders; this includes working across time zones Make decisions to deliver cost-effective solutions to the company and ensure assigned projects meet financial commitments for orders, sales, profit, and cash, while managing to an appropriate level of risk Identify and assess performance gaps to customer expectations or program objectives, develop and initiate improvement plans to close the gaps, and utilize metrics to verify performance to plan Responsible for completion of deliverables and on-time delivery

Job Title: Engineering - Airframe Stress Analysis Engineer

Position Responsibilities:
∙ Support airframe structural designs based on trade studies, research, and analysis.
∙ Responsible for performing detailed analysis of advanced composite and metallic structure using classical hand calculations and FE tools to develop high performance airframe structures.
∙ Perform static analysis using industry standard calculations methods (i.e. Bruhn, Roark Flabel, and O.E.M. structures manuals).
∙ Coordinate with other engineering, manufacturing, or specialty personnel to resolve problems.
∙ Apply scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure the outcome and consequence of design, in terms of stress, strength, life, stiffness, and weight, providing alternatives as needed.
∙ Oversee and monitor product acceptance procedures and parameters to achieve product reliability and safety standards (e.g. failure analysis).
∙ Contribute to the completion milestones associated with specific projects (e.g. create functional diagrams and system layouts; review detailed drawings and schematics; define data structure, interfaces and analyze material requirements).
∙ Execute Tasks to Cost and Schedule Requirements.
∙ Support supplier / teammate design activity.
∙ Support test activity, including test plan development, execution, and reports.

Education Requirements:
∙ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required. Major in Aerospace or Mechanical with focus on structural analysis is preferred. Other degrees may be considered.
Position Requirements:
∙ Multiple levels of experience will be considered with at least 5 years experience in structural analysis. Aerospace industry is preferred but other relevant experience may be considered.
∙ Experience in helicopter or tiltrotor structural design is preferred, including composites.
∙ Must have the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively to coordinate design and analysis activities, prioritize tasks, and report status to design leads.
∙ Must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal and external suppliers, as well as horizontal integrations across the other teams to complete design tasks.
∙ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
∙ Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis using MSC.NASTRAN and Altair Hypermesh
∙ Must have the ability to work effectively within a team.
∙ Must have the ability to prioritize a variety of assignments.
∙ Good interpersonal and organizational skills are required.
