permanent
Client Advisor
Salary not disclosed

We're Mike Goulian Aviation, and we need a Client Advisor.

We don't just teach people how to fly; we change their lives. Our mission is to help our clients seamlessly integrate aviation into their everyday lives. We are a boutique, premium, and relationship-based team that is—to be honest—completely obsessive about customer service and hospitality.

We're also proud of what we've built. We were the Cirrus Training Center of the Year in 2022, the Service Center of the Year in 2025, and a top Referral Source in 2021, 2022, and 2025.

Our current Client Advisor is moving on to a new chapter, but they aren't just disappearing—they'll be right here to help you transition into the role, learn the ropes, and meet the community. Now, we need a high-energy, professional \"people person\" to step in and keep that momentum going.

The Meat and Potatoes

This isn't a \"sit behind a desk and wait for the phone to ring\" kind of job. It is an extremely hands-on, face-to-face role where you are the face of the company for our most important assets: our clients. You'll be splitting your time between our locations in Plymouth and Bedford (Hanscom Field), ensuring that every person who interacts with MGAV feels like they are part of the family.

As a Client Advisor, you will:

  • Be the Gateway: You are the first point of contact for prospective pilots. Whether they call, email, or walk through the door, you're the one who listens to their dreams and helps them see how aviation fits into their life.
  • Act as a Strategic Consultant: You aren't just \"selling flight hours.\" You are guiding people through a complex, life-changing journey. You'll explain the roadmap of flight training, help them understand the milestones of the Cirrus curriculum, and provide professional advice as they transition from a student to an aircraft owner.
  • Master the Matchmaking: You'll be responsible for pairing the right students with the right flight instructors. It's about more than just a calendar; it's about personalities and learning styles. You'll oversee the schedule to ensure everything runs like a well-oiled machine.
  • Conduct Professional Tours: When someone visits our facility, you're the guide. You'll show off the fleet, explain our services, and facilitate the follow-up meetings that turn a \"maybe\" into a \"let's fly.\"
  • Own the Backend: While we love the \"fun\" side of aviation, there is real work to be done. You'll manage client data in our CRM, handle billing and workflows in QuickBooks, and stay organized using Mac platforms and Microsoft Office.

How you'll know you're winning:

  • You are a trusted advisor: When a client has a question about their training progress or is thinking about buying their first plane, they come to you first because they trust your insight.
  • The \"Vibe\" is consistent: Whether it's a busy Tuesday or a weekend shift, the level of hospitality remains world-class. No detail is too small for you.
  • The Pipeline is healthy: Leads aren't falling through the cracks. You're following up, moving people through the process, and ensuring every inquiry receives a thoughtful, professional response.
  • Operations are seamless: The instructors are where they need to be, the students are making progress, and the administrative side of the house is organized and accurate.

Who you are:

  • You're a Pilot (or well on your way): This is essential. To be a true advocate for our clients, you need to have sat in the left seat. You must hold a Private Pilot Certificate at a minimum or be actively and consistently in-flight training. You can't advise someone on the magic (and the hard work) of learning to fly if you haven't lived it yourself.
  • You're a \"Solution Provider\": You don't just identify problems; you fix them. You're self-motivated, well-organized, and you thrive when you have a lot of plates spinning at once.
  • You speak \"Professional\": You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You're comfortable talking to high-net-worth individuals, tech-savvy students, and seasoned pilots alike.
  • You love the Apple ecosystem: We're a Mac-based shop. If you're comfortable with Mac software, CRM tools, and QuickBooks, you'll fit right in.
  • You're a Team Player: You'll be working closely with Marc (Director of Flight Operations) and Sean (Assistant Chief Pilot). We're a tight-knit crew, and we're looking for someone who adds to that culture.

The Logistics:

  • The Locations: You'll be based in Plymouth, MA (PYM) with about 20% of your time spent at Hanscom Field (BED) in Bedford, MA.
  • The Schedule: This is a full-time role. Since aviation doesn't just happen Monday through Friday, some weekend shifts will be part of the rhythm.
  • The Requirements: You'll need to pass a background check to meet airport badging requirements.
  • The Look: We provide professional company-branded attire (shirts and jackets) because when you look good, you feel good, and you represent the brand well.

The Perks:

  • The Package: Competitive salary, 401k with a 4% match, health insurance, and profit sharing.
  • The Training: Generous flight training discounts. We want you to understand the product we're selling, and there's no better way than getting in the cockpit yourself.
  • The Support: You'll have a dedicated transition period with the departing Client Advisor to ensure you are set up for total success from day one.
