The Opportunity
Are you a beauty industry expert with a passion for storytelling and a knack for high-stakes event execution? We are seeking a dynamic Education & Events Manager to lead the charge for a premier beauty brand.
In this role, you won't just be managing a schedule; you’ll be the architect of brand experiences across 1,500+ stores and the creative force behind large-scale industry summits and consumer pop-ups (think Sephora and major retail launches). You will bridge the gap between field education, social media, and commercial strategy to ensure our brand voice is heard—and felt—across North America.
Core Responsibilities
1. Strategic Education & Training
- North America Strategy: Adapt global toolkits for US and Canadian markets, creating tailored content for Beauty Advisors, chat teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Sephora Partnership: Serve as the primary lead for the Sephora Daily Dose Program, acting as the brand’s key liaison with Sephora’s education department.
- Field Empowerment: Facilitate high-energy product knowledge sessions and pilot new training concepts to stay ahead of industry trends.
2. Event Excellence (Micro & Macro)
- Massive Scale: Oversee in-store eventing standards for 1,500+ locations, ensuring flawless execution and sales plan achievement.
- Large-Scale Management: Lead the project management for "tentpole" events, including retailer brand summits, consumer pop-ups, and high-visibility launches.
- Cross-Functional Synergy: Partner with Marketing, Creative, and Commercial teams to align event themes with key product launches and retailer objectives.
3. Field & Digital Operations
- The Connective Tissue: Act as the vital link between Field Sales and Corporate Marketing.
- Digital Innovation: Collaborate with the Social Media and teams to bring a "pro-education" lens to our digital platforms and social content.
- Operational Oversight: Manage vendor relationships, budget lines, and inventory (Gratis, samples, and GWP development).
Who You Are
- Experienced: You have 5–7 years of experience in the cosmetics industry with a heavy focus on training and event management.
- A Natural Facilitator: You are as comfortable presenting to a room of 100 people as you are engaging in a virtual training session.
- Strategic & Analytical: You don't just "do" events; you analyze results, manage budgets responsibly, and pivot strategies based on ROI.
- Agile: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can handle the complexities of a hybrid, 4-day-on-site schedule in Manhattan.
