Job Summary and QualificationsThe Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist is required to perform invasive and non-invasive procedures on a variety of patients per the needs of the modality/department. The Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist is required to utilize sterile techniques, if necessary, operate complex imaging equipment and assist physicians as necessary. Continuing education, learned skills and experience will be utilized. This position will function without constant supervision to produce superior quality imaging studies. The Multi-Modality Technologist must routinely work within a minimum of two qualifying modalities as directed by department managers/supervisors to meet the specific needs of the department. Performs all duties relating to the specific primary an d post primary imaging modalities in which they are working. This includes Diagnostic, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound. Mammography & Bone Densitometry.
What qualifications you will need:
- Required Education: Graduate of an accredited Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JCERT) program.
- Required License: ARRT registered and hold post primary certification in a minimum of 1 additional qualifying discipline in which exams will be performed in the role of Multi-Modality Technologist OR must obtain registry and have current certification on credentialing website for specified imaging modality within specific timeframe as follows; a. CT 6-9 months, b. Mammography 12 months, c. MRI 12-18 months Completes requirements for CEU for re-certification. BLS certified.
- Required Experience: Previous experience in a multi-disciplined Radiology Department.
- Preferred Experience: Two years previous experience in an advanced discipline.

We are currently hiring for a full time Radiologic Technologist - X Ray within the Diagnostic Imaging department here at Aspen Valley Health.

$31.65 - $50.65Night and weekend shift differentials up to $10 per hour!Eligible new hires may qualify for a sign on bonus up to $10,000.

The Manager Imaging Services will provide leadership, technical support, and ensure regulatory compliance within the department for assigned imaging modalities. The Manager ensures staffing coverage, collaborates with radiologists, physicians, staff, other managers on a daily basis to ensure safe patient care and patient access to clinical services. This position is part of the Enterprise Imaging Management Team and will work closely with and take direction from to other department managers to ensure efficient operations of the department. Responsible for the completion of staff orientation, safety and procedural training, this includes staff educational development and student training. The Clinical Manager assists with budget and equipment planning as well as coordinates the maintenance of all Imaging and Support equipment utilized within the Imaging Department. The Manager is responsible for budgeting of the labor and the completion of staff orientation, safety and procedural training such as staff educational development and student training and partners with coordinating the maintenance of all Imaging and Support equipment. The Manager will participate in a management on call rotation providing 24 hour support to the department.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in healthcare, operations, or business related field.
BS in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred.
At least three years of management and/or supervisory experience in diagnostic imaging department at an acute care hospital or hospital system.
Demonstrated knowledge in TJC, CMS, MQSA, ACR and FDA regulatory requirements.
Super user system knowledge for RIS/PACS, and experience with other software that supports the hospital and the Imaging Department.
Experience leading teams and/or projects such as implementing new technology and process improvements.
Leadership, physician and employee relationship skills.
Demonstrated analytical skills including basic principles of finance and statistics.
Basic knowledge of medical insurance, CPT codes, revenue cycle, ICD-9, ABNs, authorizations and referrals.
License/Certifications
Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certificate

Performs examinations/procedures as needed to assist in patient throughput within the scope of the Manager's license(s), certification(s), and/or documented competencies.
Demonstrates flexibility by working other shifts and at other campuses as needed or required.
Ensures completed exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS.
Ability to follow PACS downtime procedures as a PACS Superuser and escalate any problem(s) or issue(s) to the PACS administrator or Designee if needed.
Troubleshoots and reports any equipment malfunctions to the Director/Manager and/or Biomedical personnel; does appropriate follow-up.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements: Education/Skills Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent required Experience 1 year of experience in a hospital or Clinical setting preferred Basic computer experience required Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) from ARRT or ARMRIT is required within 1 year of hire State Licensure required if in New Mexico MRT by MIRTP NMED BLS required Work Schedule: 2:30PM

The MRI Technologist will demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts and/or at other campuses as needed or required.
The Technologist must be able to troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.
Expectation to participate in ongoing education, safety, and technical advances within their scope of licensure.
The incumbent must be able to provide basic MRI screening of patients and employees, prepare maintenance and repairs, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to MRI safety.
