The Specialist – International Logistics will be responsible for supporting the distribution, movement, and storage of supplies on a global scale. This role will assist the Senior Manager by providing data for budgets, processing international shipments, coordinating with freight forwarders, and building efficient delivery routes.

This position is based in office from Mondays-Thursdays, and remote on Fridays.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and transportation providers to ensure timely and accurate shipment delivery.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries, directing issues to appropriate teams as needed.
• Arrange special shipping services (e.g., expedited, temperature-controlled, or hazardous materials) when required
• Track international shipments and proactively resolve delivery issues or documentation discrepancies.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in international logistics, including hands-on freight forwarding experience.
• Experience working with international shipping regulations, customs documentation, and global carriers preferred.

The Logistics Coordinator will be involved in both inbound and outbound logistics in a supporting role of the team that is in place today. The role will be involved with inbound freight bookings and related costs, including tracking tariff expenses related to international inbound shipments.

Outbound logistics involved both domestic and international shipping based on carrier rates and customer carrier preferences. A knowledge of typical freight terms and contracts is preferred.

Monthly spend analysis is necessary for expense reporting to leadership. This requires assimilation of data from multiple sources and synthesizing the data so that the output to leadership is concise, yet informative.

Responsibilities

• Work with department leadership to track inbound freight spending related to ocean, air, drayage, and duty/tariff cost
• Review inbound freight invoices for accuracy – invoice reviews will include emails, invoice files, and the COUPA purchasing system
• Develop inbound freight reporting
• Schedule outbound freight pickups and/or obtain freight rates while working with customer service team members and distribution shipping team members
• Perform Freight company invoice audits
• Carrier performance reporting
• Attend logistics planning meetings with supply chain partners
• Analyze carrier rates and transit times to select the best shipping method
• Carrier relations and escalations when necessary

Experience, Skills, & Ability Requirements

• College Degree preferred with a supply chain focus
• 1-3 years of experience working in logistics, in leu of a bachelor’s degree
• Basic M.S. Excel skills and the ability to adapt to new systems
• Preferred candidates will have experience with the ACE Portal and with CTPAT Requirements

SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Operations Support Manager, the Logistics and Material Planner plays a critical role in optimizing the daily functions of the Stores department. In this capacity, this position will support various functions such as inventory management, materials and material handling, storage, and logistics. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Review and analyze inventory to ensure materials meet operational requirements and there is no overstock or shortages; uses inventory management system (Oracle) to ensure accurate and up-to-date information

The annual base salary for this full-time position is between $92,930.00-$136,661.00 + bonus target + benefits. This role will focus on planning and executing transportation logistics for oversized and critical equipment, including gas turbines, generators, transformers, and prefabricated modules. The position requires coordination across engineering, construction, vendors, logistics contractors, and permitting agencies to ensure equipment arrives safely, legally, and on schedule. This role will be responsible for planning and coordinating the transportation of extremely large equipment across multiple states and construction sites.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Planning transportation routes for oversized loads

• Coordinating heavy haul contractors

• Managing state and local transport permits

• Coordinating rail, barge, and highway transport

• Ensuring site readiness for equipment delivery

• Working with EPC contractors and OEM suppliers

• Identifying logistics risks early and mitigating them

• Integrating equipment deliveries into the project schedule

The role will support multiple power plant construction projects simultaneously.
