We are seeking a Quality Laboratory Technician to join our Quality Control team! This role reports to the Quality Manager located in Hesperia, CA.

The primary function of the Lab Technician is to assist manufacturing technicians and scientists with a variety of laboratory tasks. This role involves performing scientific tests and analysis using both routine and non-routine techniques, ensuring compliance with all safety standards. The individual will collect, analyze, and process laboratory samples, and will be responsible for preparing laboratory/pilot scale materials, submitting samples for analysis and evaluation, and recording and reporting results.


  • Hours: Monday through Friday, 08:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Overtime: Ability to work overtime as required.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Laboratory Testing: Perform routine and non-routine sample preparations, tests, and analyses using appropriate laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and analyze data from experiments, preparing detailed reports to communicate findings to the research team.
  • Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Quality Assurance: Assist in quality procedures by conducting tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to meet established specifications.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all laboratory activities, including experimental protocols, results, and compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with scientists and other site team members to develop new products and improve existing formulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: B.S. Degree in Chemistry or related technical field preferred, or High School Diploma plus 3-7+ years of experience in an industrial laboratory setting.
  • Experience: 3-7 years of laboratory experience, preferably in an industrial or research setting.
  • Shift: Employee must be willing and able to work 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday including the ability to work overtime and holidays as required.
  • Pre-employment: Employee must successfully pass a background check and drug screen prior to employment.
  • Preferred Qualifications & Skills:Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field.
  • Industry Experience: Experience working in an industrial R&D or manufacturing laboratory.

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking an applicant interested in a long-term position in the Cincinnati Technology Center CTC conducting analytical testing to support, production, product stewardship, and technical services growth. A person with 5 -10 years of experience in analytical laboratory testing is preferred. Job assignments are varied; thus, flexibility is essential.

As part of the Technical Services team, a Senior technician must be able to work on multiple services projects or Development test items simultaneously. Duties include but are not limited to running and troubleshooting and monitoring analytical laboratory testing equipment, conducting wet chemistry tests to evaluate automotive products, analyzing test results and reporting results with limited supervision. An interest in automobile and industrial fluid technology and application is highly desirable.


The Analytical Senior Laboratory Technician plays an integral role in technical services of the PFX Group/KOSTUSA. The responsibilities include the setup, testing, and documentation of analytical testing specifically liquid or gas chromatography, based out of the KOSTUSA, CTC Site. The Cincinnati Technology Center CTC Analytical laboratory performs ICP, IC, HPLC, GC, FT-IR and physical property testing on automotive, heavy duty, heat transfer fluid, Fire Resistant Hydraulic fluid (HFC type) and Gas dehydration. The Analytical Technician will be expected to run a variety of analytical tests in a demanding fast-paced environment with the internal Technical Services team as well as external partners to support the services, and solve problems based on the needs of the business.


Job Functions

Job assignments are varied, and flexibility is essential. Basic requirements include.

  • Conducts activities following established Corporate and Site Safety procedures and notifies the Supervisor of any unsafe conditions or practices in the area.
  • Prepares materials, sets up, and runs instruments and reports analytical test results.
  • Operates physical, chemical, optical, and analytical equipment for samples submitted to the CTC Analytical laboratory.

Job Requirements:

Education/Skills

  • Associates Degree or higher in clinical laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution or equivalent laboratory training and experience meeting the requirements defined in the CLIA regulation 42CFR493.1489:

    • Successfully completed an official U.S. military medical laboratory procedures training course of at least 50 weeks duration and currently hold the military enlisted occupational specialty of medical laboratory specialist (laboratory technician);

      OR

    • 60 semester hours or equivalent from an accredited institution that, at a minimum, includes either 24 semester hours of medical laboratory technology courses, OR 24 semester hours of science courses that include six semester hours of chemistry, six semester hours of biology, and 12 semester hours of chemistry, biology or medical laboratory technology in any combination;

      AND

    • Laboratory training including either completion of a clinical laboratory training program approved or accredited by the ABHES, NAACLS, or other organization approved by HHS (note that this training may be included in the 60 semester hours listed above), or at least three months documented laboratory training in each specialty in which the individual performs high complexity testing.

Experience

  • No experience required for graduates of a clinical laboratory training program approved or accredited by NAACLS, or other organizations approved by HHS.

Brava Roof Tile is seeking an experienced and highly organized Laboratory Manager to lead the development and operation of our new testing laboratories at our McDonough, Georgia facility. This role is responsible not only for overseeing daily laboratory activities but also for building and scaling the lab capabilities from the ground up to support R&D, production, quality control, and customer testing initiatives.


The Laboratory Manager will play a critical leadership role in establishing both the Physical Properties Testing and Analytical Testing laboratories, including laboratory layout and setup, equipment installation and commissioning, test method development and validation, and implementation of safe and efficient laboratory processes.
