Our stores depend on the Facilities Technicians to keep the entire building operation running smoothly and ensure a safe and clean working and shopping environment for employees and customers. In this role, you'll work closely with the store and division maintenance team to execute vital preventative maintenance programs to ensure your store is in good repair and equipment is running smoothly. What will I do?
- Continuously inspect both building and grounds, looking for repair opportunities, and ensuring a safe and clean work and shopping environment
- Perform simple repairs, replacements, and maintenance on basic parts including (but not limited to) case doors, shelving, fixtures, ceiling and floor tiles, carts, racks, gaskets, hinges, filters and basic plumbing/plumbing fixtures, and restroom facilities
- Perform basic painting/touching up of interior/exterior doors, office, walls, trim, etc.; assist with small in-house, divisional projects, or tasks as needed
- Collaborate with the store Maintenance team members and Store Leadership; execute a Preventative Maintenance program for store equipment and facilities; troubleshoot emergency issues while assist in coordinating and monitoring resources and resolutions

- Experience with mechanical/technical projects including home improvements, remodeling, general repair/handyman work and effective and safe use of power tools

The Facilities Associate I supports daily facility operations by performing cleaning, basic maintenance, and general building services. Position Summary

8. Performs vacancy preparation work such as patching and preparing walls for painting, cleaning
stoves and refrigerators, replacing floor tile, cleaning, and making repairs to building surfaces,
fixtures, systems, and equipment.
9. Maintains in good repair all assigned service vehicles, tools, and equipment.
10. Uses a wide range of hand tools and equipment such as drills, hammers, pliers, screw drivers,
electrical testers, hand and power saws, cutters, plungers, threaders, wire brushes, paint rollers and
brushes, sprayers, etc.
11. Requisitions materials, supplies, and equipment for own purposes and for others working on teams
that may involve lifting heavy objects into place.
12. Inspects apartments for maintenance work to be done, usually as a result of a resident request or
Property Manager work order and completes repairs as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
13. Plans and carries out preventive maintenance and regular repair programs for building surfaces,
systems, fixtures, and playground equipment.
14. Performs a number of groundskeeping tasks, including but not limited to trash removal, trimming,
mowing, planting, snow removal, etc.
15. Performs routine cleaning of buildings and grounds as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
16. Provides after-hours and weekend emergency coverage as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
17. Attends workshops, seminars, and training sessions as instructed by the Maintenance Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Installation Crews: Oversee installation teams, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to 3-5 technicians throughout the project lifecycle.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of in-building DAS installation experience.
- Extensive experience with cable installation in IT, RF, electrical, and/or telecommunications fields.
- Expertise in fiber fusion splicing, terminations, dressing, cleaning, and OTDR testing.
- Proven ability in RF Sweep and PIM measurements.

● Art Handling: This role requires significant physical capability, including lifting and carrying heavy items (up to 100 lbs.), navigating stairs with fragile or heavy objects, and working on ladders for installations and lighting adjustments. Candidates must be comfortable with the physical demands of handling and installing large-scale and heavy artworks such as bronze sculptures and oversized photographs.
● Administrative Duties: Track tasks daily on spreadsheets, reconcile shipping and other expenses, and maintain art inventory records. Report progress and issues to leadership.
● Lighting Adjustments: Replace and adjust ceiling, spotlight, and jewelry case lighting as needed.
● Communication: Communicate with represented artists regarding inventory intake. Represent the gallery professionally and knowledgeably at exhibitions and events.
● Creative Problem-Solving: Think outside the box to overcome challenges, particularly when dealing with unconventional art pieces.
● Team Collaboration: Work closely and effectively with other team members to ensure proper customer service and a positive work environment.
● Customer Service: Display inventory creatively and compellingly to engage clients. Maintain strong customer service practices.
● Event Support: Assist during special events and exhibitions.
● Physical Tasks: Perform basic building maintenance and sculpture garden set up/cleaning as needed.
● Client Installations: Travel occasionally for client installations, showcasing professionalism and expertise.
Requirements:
● Preferred experience in art packing, shipping, and crating or similar
● Knowledge of handling fragile items.
● Valid driver’s license.
● Proficiency with Mac platforms.
● Physical ability to lift 100 lbs., work on ladders, and navigate stairs with heavy or fragile objects.
● Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
● Solid communication and interpersonal skills.

● Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.

● Experience with fine art installation.
Working Conditions:
● Flexible hours: 20 to 25 hours/week (generally 3 weekdays)
● Typical hours: 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM
● Work location: On-site.
