RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports construction erosion and sediment stormwater inspections and be available 24/7 to support inspections.
- Works closely with Operations and Engineering on monitoring compliance and close out of construction projects.
- Provides support to operations and engineering for multi-media environmental compliance programs.
- Conducts multi-media environmental compliance inspections to meet permit/plan requirements.
- Conducts waste sampling for waste characterization and disposal.
- Supports environmental regulatory inspections.
- Develops and conducts environmental compliance training.
- Conducts environmental self-assessments to improve environmental compliance.
- Develops environmental plans and reports for submittal to regulatory agencies.
- Inspects and advises on operations and construction, for numerous facilities and projects, across a large geographic area in West Virginia.
- Ensures compliance with environmental requirements, prescribed by-laws, regulations, company policies, and company procedures.
- Uses electronic databases to analyze and monitor company compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Tracks environmental compliance deadlines in electronic databases.
- Provides emergency response direction and expertise, to address environmental emergencies such as oil or chemical releases.

QUALIFICATIONS
Associate Environmental Specialist:
0-2 years' related work experience.

The Litigation Attorney will oversee low to middle level risk claims and manage the work of the claims team members as well as outside counsel.

Job Summary
Reporting to the Trade Operations Leader, the Trade Compliance Associate supports the execution of international trade compliance activities to help ensure HellermannTyton North America operates in accordance with U.S. Customs and applicable foreign trade regulations. This position provides day-to-day operational and compliance support for import and export processes, including reviewing entry documentation, maintaining HTS classifications and Country of Origin (COO) data, and administering free trade agreement programs such as USMCA. The role assists with vendor solicitation and collection of COO and HTS certifications, maintains required trade documentation, and supports accurate duty application and trade remedy tracking. This will be achieved while maintaining HellermannTyton's Quality and EHS certifications by supporting all corporate policies, procedures, work instructions, and required documentation.
The Trade Compliance Associate is responsible for maintaining organized and accurate trade records, updating internal databases, and ensuring activities align with established corporate policies, departmental procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare and issue Free Trade Agreement (FTA) certificates, including USMCA, and other required trade program declarations for customers and affiliated entities.
- Perform FTA qualification analyses for manufactured and resale products in accordance with applicable U.S. trade agreement rules.
- Review and audit import entry documentation to ensure accurate HTS classification, Country of Origin (COO), trade remedy applicability (e.g., Section 232/301, IEEPA), and proper duty assessment.
- Assign and maintain product trade classifications, including HTS, ECCN, Schedule B, COO, and applicable preference criteria, with supporting documentation.

- Conduct restricted party screening and escalate potential matches in accordance with U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
- Maintain trade compliance records in accordance with 15 CFR, 19 CFR, and company retention policies to support audit readiness.

Certifications: Relevant Pega certifications are required (e.g., Certified Pega Business Architect, Certified Pega System Architect).
Technical Skills: Python: Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks, with experience in integrating Python solutions within Pega applications.
SQL: Solid experience with SQL for database management and querying, including the ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance.
Apache Airflow (Optional): Experience with Apache Airflow for orchestrating complex workflows is a plus but not mandatory.
