Hiring: Construction Manager 5 (Mechanical) β Mission Critical Data Center | Onsite | Boydton, VA
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager (Mechanical) to support a ground-up, mission-critical data center construction project in Boydton, VA. This role will lead and oversee the mechanical scope of the build, ensuring quality, compliance, and successful system turnover.
Location: Boydton, VA (Onsite)
Duration: 12 months (Strong potential for extension)
Key Responsibilities
Engineering & Design Review
- Review mechanical design documents, specifications, and IFC packages
- Validate compliance with ASHRAE, IMC, ASME, NFPA, AHJ, and manufacturer standards
- Respond to RFIs and evaluate equipment submittals & shop drawings
Construction Phase Oversight
- Conduct field walks to verify installation compliance
- Oversee equipment placement, anchorage, vibration isolation, and safety
- Monitor piping fabrication, welding QA/QC, and pressure testing
- Manage installation sequencing and constructability reviews
QA/QC & Compliance
- Review inspection reports, weld maps, hydro tests, and flushing plans
- Validate redlines and built conditions for turnover documentation
- Audit contractor performance and track corrective actions
Coordination & Integration
- Lead MEP coordination across electrical, structural, civil, plumbing, and controls
- Support BIM coordination and clash resolution
- Ensure integration with UPS rooms, battery rooms, and data halls
Commissioning & Turnover
- Review commissioning scripts and procedures
- Witness functional testing, equipment startup, CHW balancing, and BAS testing
- Support IST, punch list closure, and final turnover
Project Scope
Mechanical systems include:
- Chilled water generation & distribution
- CRAH/CRAC units
- AHUs
- Evaporative cooling & heat rejection equipment
- Mechanical piping systems (CHW, CW, HHW, CDW, fuel)
- BAS controls
- Ventilation & pressurization systems
- Fire protection coordination
This is a ground-up hyperscale data center build, supporting all phases from design review through final commissioning and turnover.
Candidate Requirements
- 10+ years of construction experience (mission critical/data center preferred)
- Strong Mechanical background
- Hands-on experience with BAS systems
- Solid construction management experience
- Preferred local candidates

Job Title: Deployment Specialist β Endpoint / Thin Client
Location: Dallas, TX (100% onsite)
Duration: 3-month contract to start, strong likelihood of extension
Schedule: MondayβFriday, standard business hours
Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Deployment Specialist to support a large-scale endpoint rollout in a healthcare environment. This role focuses on preparing, provisioning, validating, and deploying devices using IGEL UD Pocket and thin client technologies. This is a highly hands-on, process-driven position ideal for candidates with experience in device imaging, endpoint provisioning, or hardware deployments.
Responsibilities
- Initialize and validate endpoint devices using deployment tools and structured procedures
- Connect devices to network and confirm successful provisioning and configuration
- Troubleshoot basic hardware, connectivity, and configuration issues
- Prepare, organize, label, and package devices for distribution
- Track deployment progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Support ongoing endpoint deployment and lifecycle activities onsite
Required Experience
- Experience with device deployment, desktop support, or endpoint provisioning
- Hands-on experience with Windows endpoints and hardware configuration
- Basic networking knowledge (DHCP, connectivity validation, network access)
- Experience working with ticketing systems or deployment tracking tools
- Ability to work onsite and follow structured deployment processes
Preferred Experience
- IGEL OS, IGEL UD Pocket, or thin client experience
- SCCM, MDT, Intune, Autopilot, or similar deployment tools
- Large-scale hardware rollout or refresh projects
- Healthcare or enterprise environment experience
