The clinician will treat patients with various conditions including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, depression, PTSD, and paranoia. Documentation responsibilities include report writing with an 80/20 split between direct patient care and administrative duties using the EPIC EMR system. Collaborate with families and caregivers to integrate therapy strategies into daily routines.

Deliver compassionate, one-on-one support in home and community settings.

Communicate effectively and consistently with supervising therapists, team members, service coordinators, translators, and administrative staff.

Assist in documenting progress notes, daily treatment logs, and discharge summaries per OASIS standards.

Maintain HIPAA compliance with all communication and documentation.

Participate in mandatory staff meetings and enjoy optional team bonding events to stay connected and informed.

Treatment notes and discharges must be completed within 2 days of a visit.

Missed visit notes must be completed weekly according to the established schedule.

All notes are reviewed and co-signed by the supervising occupational therapist.

Completion of state-mandated continuing education per DORA requirements.

Maintain current CPR certification.

Report any DUI, misdemeanor, or felony convictions or accusations to OASIS.

The successful candidate will be expected to direct the development of a bachelor's degree in music therapy, recruit new students, as well as teach appropriate undergraduate and graduate offerings in related interdisciplinary programs (education, psychology, health sciences, and nursing).


The appointed individual will be responsible for teaching a variety music therapy courses as well as at least one general music course aligned with the candidates' areas of expertise and experience. Alongside leading program development and teaching, this individual will advise students, contribute to curriculum development, serve on departmental and college committees, as well as perform other tasks as assigned to support the objectives of the Department.

  • ABD in doctoral degree in music therapy or a closely related therapy field.
  • Board Certification in Music Therapy (MT-BC).
  • Experience with undergraduate teaching.
  • Qualified to teach at least one course in music fundamentals, class piano, or ear training.
  • Evidence of capacity to collaborate with colleagues and/or faculty from other disciplines and staff collegially.

Summary:
Provides Occupational Therapy Services to patients referred, including assessment, treatment plan development and implementation with the follow-up and discharge planning. Actively assists with clinical aspects of the department, including program development, department operations and Performance Improvement activities. Assists with supervising and coordinating the Occupational Therapy and Occupational Therapy Assistant Student programs. In addition, supervises Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, Rehab Technicians, and Volunteers.
Responsibilities:
Performs comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to determine the status of the physical, cognitive and daily living abilities of inpatients and outpatients, considering diagnosis and age specific needs.Develops and implements, with patient/family participation, individualized treatment plans, as indicated, considering diagnosis and age specific needs, with measurable goals and methods to achieve goals.Adheres consistently to the P&Ps relating to documentation, to include: Initial Patient Evaluations, Daily and Weekly Progress notes as required, Discharge Summaries and other notations as appropriate.Participates in patient care conferences, family conferences, in-service programs, departmental, and interdepartmental meetings.Counsels both patient (if appropriate), family and other involved individuals regarding patient evaluation, care and treatment.
