Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients, focusing on improving daily living activities (ADLs).
- Monitor patient progress and document outcomes in accordance with care plans.
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and exercises.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care, utilizing knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program and have an Associate's degree.
- Must possess a current CO Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) License
- Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care.
