The Role

As a Design Intern at Absolutely Ridiculous, you'll be hands-on in the creative heart of the fastest-growing sports and lifestyle brand in the world. Working directly alongside our founder and Creative Director in addition to our design team in-house and remote, you'll support the full design lifecycle—from initial concept through production-ready tech packs—across our hard goods, soft goods, and marketing channels. 

What You’ll Get To Do

• Assist in the development and review of tech packs for new product releases, ensuring design intent is accurately translated for manufacturing partners
• Support hard goods design across our core product lines—baseball and softball gloves, sliding mitts, and protective accessories — with attention to construction, materials, colorways, and brand consistency
• Contribute to soft goods design for headwear, apparel, and lifestyle products, helping bring our art-forward aesthetic to wearable categories
• Create and adapt marketing graphics for product launches, social media drops, and brand campaigns—including assets for the brand's signature sneaker-culture drop model
• Collaborate with the creative team on concept development for upcoming collections and collaborations
• Help maintain and organize digital design files, ensuring brand assets are well-structured and accessible
• Participate in product review sessions and offer creative input during ideation phases

Who You Are

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Product Design, Fashion Design, or a related field
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop required; InDesign a plus) Familiar with tech pack creation or eager to learn the process; understanding of product construction basics (leather goods, stitching, hardware) is a plus
• Deeply curious about the intersection of art, culture, sport, fashion, and music — you understand what makes a product feel like more than just equipment
• Detail-oriented with a strong eye for color, composition, and craftsmanship
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and excited to work in a fast-moving, creative startup environment

QA SUPERVISOR

POSITION SUMMARY

Oversee quality assurance programs in an ice cream manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with SQF standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality systems. Lead QA technicians, manage food safety programs, and maintain product integrity from raw materials through finished goods.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead daily QA operations including product testing, sensory evaluation, and line inspections

• Ensure compliance with SQF Code, GMPs, HACCP, and regulatory guidelines (FDA, local/state)

• Maintain and update the Food Safety Plan and Quality Plan

• Conduct internal audits, corrective actions, and verification activities

• Oversee document control including SOPs, specification sheets, and quality records

• Manage environmental monitoring, sanitation verification, allergen controls, and micro testing programs

• Support root cause analysis and implement preventive and corrective actions

• Train production and QA staff on quality and food safety requirements

• Approve raw materials, monitor supplier performance, and manage COAs and vendor documentation

• Review batch records, hold/release product decisions, and support traceability and recall exercises

• Collaborate with operations, R&D, sanitation, and maintenance to resolve quality issues

• Support continuous improvement projects focused on quality, safety, and efficiency

• Assist with line coverage/pre-operational inspection when needed
• Must be available to work on weekend.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 2-3 years experience in food manufacturing, preferably ice cream or dairy

• Strong knowledge of SQF certification requirements

• Understanding of HACCP, GMPs, and regulatory compliance

• Experience with micro testing, environmental monitoring, and sanitation validation

• Ability to lead teams and communicate cross‑functionally

• Strong problem‑solving and investigation skills

• Proficiency in quality systems, documentation, and audit processes

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• SQF Practitioner certification

• Dairy or frozen dessert processing experience

• Experience with CAPA systems and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)

• Familiarity with lab equipment, sensory testing, and formulation basics

As a Cycle Counter you will be part of our supply chain team. The Cycle Counter will perform the following but not limited to:

• Analyze, compute, and verify work orders sent up daily from production.
• Verify clerical computation against work orders and investigate and report reasons for discrepancies to supervisor.
• Maintain the operation summary worksheet.
• Enter daily production of finished goods and any corresponding scraps and receipts for rework/regrind using the inventory control programs.
• Enter daily work orders into the computer system using the inventory control programs.
• Advise supervisor if FIFO or negative inventory issues are detected.
• Maintain and update all attachments to work orders received.
• Work with Quality Assurance Dept. to track the hold status of products and enter product movement in the inventory control programs.
• Reconcile MOs as appropriate.
• Attendance is part of employee performance.
• All other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1-3 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrate proficient math skills.

Strong analytical skills & excellent attention to detail.

Demonstrate knowledge usage of ERP systems and other IT systems and proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.

Well-developed interpersonal skills.

Effective communication & presentation skills (verbal and nonverbal).
