Paragonix Technologies markets organ transportation devices that safeguard organs during the journey between donor and recipient patients. Position Overview: The Design Quality Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of Paragonix's medical device products throughout the design and development lifecycle. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, regulatory affairs, and quality assurance, to drive excellence in design control processes.


Primary responsibilities/authority will include:



  • Design Control Compliance: Implement and maintain design control processes in accordance with applicable regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 13485, ISO 14971, FDA QSR, MDR) to ensure the development of safe and effective medical devices.
  • Risk Management: Lead and contribute to risk management activities throughout the design process, including the identification, assessment, and mitigation of potential risks. Work closely with the R&D team to integrate risk management into the design process.
  • Failure Analysis: Assist in Post-Market Surveillance (PMS) initiatives, including failure investigation, record review, and data trending.
  • Quality Planning: Develop and execute quality plans for new product development projects, outlining quality objectives, deliverables, and verification/validation activities.
  • Design Input and Output:

    • Review and approve design inputs to ensure they are clear, complete, and aligned with user needs and regulatory requirements.
    • Validate that design outputs meet the specified design input requirements.


  • Change Control: Manage design changes by assessing their impact on product quality, ensuring proper documentation, and obtaining necessary approvals.
  • Verification and Validation:

    • Develop and execute protocols for design verification and validation strategies and acceptance criteria.
    • Collaborate with testing teams to ensure thorough testing of product designs.


  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, regulatory affairs, and quality assurance, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration throughout the product development process.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of relevant regulations and standards and ensure that product designs comply with applicable requirements. Support regulatory submissions as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the design control system and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices.

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a quality engineering role in the medical device industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of design control processes, risk management, and quality management systems (ISO 13485, ISO 14971, FDA QSR).
  • Strong technical skills related to product quality including VOE translation to Design Specs, Human Factors, CTQ Cascades, Design Characterization, Verification / Validation, Test Method Validation, Process Validation, Inspection Techniques and Statistics.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for medical devices (FDA, EU MDR, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
  • DFSS or DMAIC Black Belt Certified, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) certification is a plus.

  • Electrical and mechanical background strongly preferred.
  • Experience creating and analyzing charts in Minitab, JMP, or equivalent software a plus.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean, SPC, ASQ and/or ISO process controls a plus.
  • Computer proficiency in MS office (specifically Excel).
  • Effective verbal and excellent technical writing skills.
  • Excels at generating and maintaining organized and accurate records.

General Position Summary

Mason, Bruce, & Girard, Inc., a natural resource consulting firm headquartered in Portland, OR., is seeking ambitious and enthusiastic Botanists to work on a variety of projects during the 2026 field season. As a team member in our Environmental Services Group, you will support multiple projects, complete and lead technical fieldwork, and draft reports. The Environmental Services Group has several exciting projects in 2026, and we are looking to fill our roster with Botanists of varying backgrounds such as wetland science, rangeland science, rare plant and noxious weed identification, and special status species survey experience. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis as project needs dictate.

In this role, your major job duties will include:

Conduct botanical surveys within the Pacific Northwest.Overnight travel.Perform work with high degree of integrity.Record notes and documentation throughout fieldwork.Provide background research and draft portions of technical memos. Act in a supporting role to project managers and prepare project deliverables within allotted level of effort and schedule.


Education and/or Experience

Job Conditions

Work is performed both within the field and working from home. In certain instances, candidates may need to report to work in an office. Candidates must be located in either Oregon or southern Washington. Field work is to be performed in all weather conditions, steep rough terrain, rural areas, and a variety of settings including open fields, streams, and forested areas. If Mother Nature can create it, we will survey it. The position may require extensive computer use, physical ability to operate a telephone, overnight travel, and sitting for extended periods of time. Candidate may lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Role Summary

We are seeking an IT Web Developer to help support and enhance our custom web applications. This role is ideal for a developer who has a solid foundation in modern web development and is looking to grow their skills while working on real-world business systems.

The developer will work with tools such as React & JavaScript for frontend development. PHP backend using an MVC framework, and a MySQL database, all hosted in a Linux-based VPS environment. This role will collaborate closely with experienced IT team members, business stakeholders, and third-party developers contributing to new features, improvements, and ongoing application support. This will be a hybrid role located at our headquarters in Medina, OH.


Key Responsibilities


Application Development & Support

  • Assist in maintaining and enhancing custom web applications
  • Implement new features, UI improvements, and administrative tools under guidance from senior IT staff
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across frontend, backend, and database layers
  • Learn and follow established coding standards and best practices


Backend & Database Contributions

  • Write and maintain database queries and assist with schema updates

Required Skills & Experience


Experience and Education

  • 1–3 years of experience supporting or building web applications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or IT is preferred

Technical Foundation

  • Working knowledge of JavaScript and React (components, hooks, API integration)

  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows

The Site Manager is an operations leader who will communicate a vision for how Williams Lea best serves our clients across single or multiple service offerings, and who empowers and enables their team to bring that vision to life. Operational Leadership

Additional Information

RRD's current salary range for this role is $84100 to $134600 / year. The salary range may be adjusted based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee, and the range may change in the future. At RRD, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. Depending on the role, in addition to base salary, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
