SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that ensure the company secures the highest-quality materials, components, and services at the most competitive cost. Key Responsibilities: Manage the monthly close process to include preparation of monthly financial statements and explain variances.
Maintain standard costs and ensure accurate inventory valuation.
Develop plant budgets and ongoing financial projections.
Provide financial insights for decisions on production, costing, and capital projects.
Safeguard assets, ensure GAAP compliance, and support audits.
Lead and develop the accounting team, including a Senior Accountant and two offshore employees, one supporting AP and one supporting AR.
Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience as an Accounting Manager, Sr.
Staff Accountant, or Controller in a manufacturing environment.
At least 5 years of combined accounting and cost accounting experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
CMA or CPA certification preferred.
Experience with Oracle NetSuite, Great Plains, or similar ERP systems.
NetSuite experience preferred.
Advance proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
