What you'll do as a Senior Manager Sterile Processing:

Lead and inspire a high-performing leadership team to deliver exceptional day-to-day service that meets customer needs, contractual obligations, and business goals.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers at all levels, including executive leadership, ensuring satisfaction through regular KPI reviews, pulse checks, and bi-annual business reviews.

Proactively resolve customer issues by identifying root causes, implementing corrective action plans, and tracking measurable outcomes.

Collaborate with STERIS Business Development and internal teams to identify growth opportunities, support contract changes, and expand service offerings.

Ensure full compliance with all regulatory standards (DOH, TJC, DNV, OSHA, CDC, AAMI, AORN) and facility policies across all operations.

Oversee staffing strategies, aligning resources with fluctuating demand and ensuring leadership is equipped to do the same.

Foster a culture of employee engagement, retention, and safety through ongoing communication, training, and development.

Manage recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance management to build a skilled and motivated team.

Drive continuous improvement by leading process improvement initiatives using STERIS PI modules and coaching others in PI methodology.

Ensure accurate and timely completion of all administrative functions, including documentation, billing, inventories, and time records.

Effectively manage P&L responsibilities, ensuring financial targets are met while delivering high-quality service.

Implement new policies, procedures, and services in alignment with contracts and STERIS standards to enhance customer experience.

Collaborate across STERIS operations, service, and finance teams to support business objectives, manage invoicing, and ensure accurate financial reporting.

The Experience, Skills, and Abilities Needed:

High School Diploma

10 years of experience in Sterile Processing and 5 years of Sterile Processing leadership

CRCST or CBSPD Certification. If not certified at point of hire, certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.

Must be able to be compliant with hospital/customer credentialing requirements.

Preferred Experience:

Bachelor's degree

Leadership experience supporting a minimum of 20 Operating Rooms

Pay range for this opportunity is $113,900.00 - $147,400.00. This position is eligible for bonus participation.

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.

Provides clerical, statistical and informational support to the Trauma Service.

Maintains a database to allow for easy retrieval of trauma statistics.

Accurately identifying trauma patients, abstracting requisite data, and entering them into the trauma registry based on trauma inclusion criteria.

The ability to perform ICD-10 and Abbreviated Injury Scaling (AIS) coding.

Updates and maintains all trauma registry records including essential elements as defined by trauma center leadership, State Designating Department, National Trauma Data Standards, and Trauma Quality Improvement Program (TQIP) as indicated based on trauma center level of designation.

Demonstrates proficiency in capturing and entering data that contributes to accurate calculations of ISS, Trauma Score, TRISS, Probability of Survival Score; GCS, ICD/AIS coding, among others.

Completes record abstraction, entry, and validation, in compliance with American College of Surgeons (ACS), State Designating Department, and the current policies and practices of the Trauma Program.

Completes data uploads to regional, state, and national registries as required by State Designating Department and the ACS.

Performs queries and reports from the Trauma Registry as requested.

Responsible for Trauma Registry Data base management and promptly communicates data base related issues to the Trauma Program leadership.

Analyses trauma registry data for epidemiological and reporting purposes.

Communicates trends that may impact Trauma Program performance, injury prevention initiatives, or staffing to the Trauma Program leadership.

Maintains confidentiality of written and verbal communication.

Maintains confidentiality of autopsy reports, mortality and morbidity data, performance improvement activities and peer review data.

Prepares, distributes, and files reports, correspondence, and documents in the correct format including referral feedback letters to EMS and referring hospitals, per trauma center protocols.

Responsible for precepting new registry staff.

Participates in trauma-related activities within their Regional Advisory Council, as requested.

Participates in ongoing education regarding TQIP, if applicable, and other trauma related topics.

Consistently promotes a professional image in demeanor, appearance, attitude, and behaviors.

Supports Trauma Program initiatives such as injury prevention, outreach, and education as directed.

Responsible for other duties assigned.

Job Summary

The Senior Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as an experienced caregiver to the resident during the scheduled work period in long term care. Demonstrates expert level experience as a certified nursing assistant and assists other staff as needed.

Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned resident under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Knowledge of and delivers age-appropriate care related to the physical and psychological needs of the resident as per care plan. Considered a member of the nursing team and is expected to know, and will be held accountable for, following infection prevention and control policies and Personal Protective Equipment use. Often works as a support to other clinical staff in addition to assuming own responsibilities. Leads in problem solving and maintaining high accountability.

Provides assistance with basic health care needs including daily living activities that may include, but are not limited to, bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing psychosocial support and other personal care to assigned resident. Assists the resident in transferring, repositioning, and walking using correct and appropriate transfer techniques and equipment and also provides range of motion and passive exercises. Completes tasks related to food preparation and dining, while creating a positive dining experience for the resident. Assists residents with meals and snacks, provides water and supplements as appropriate.

The NA aids providers and nursing staff members with procedures, if needed. Documents resident interactions as needed and the outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary. Communicates resident's changing condition and care related concerns/responses to the charge nurse. Collects non-invasive body fluid specimens and gathers vital signs. Provides housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational. Provides assistance and documentation with wellness and recreational programs and encourages residents to participate. May participate in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed.

May be responsible for completing tasks related to the Restorative Nursing program (including documentation, scheduling and leading restorative programs.

Qualifications

High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.

Minimum age of 16. Two years' clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.

Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing.

Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year. A minimum of 12 hours continuing education are required annually. Maintains all department specific required certifications.

May be required to complete the Restorative Nursing training within 6 months.

When applicable, for applicable states, certified and registered with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry.

Dependent on facility and required responsibilities, this role may classify as a Sanford Category II Driver requiring a motor

vehicle report and proof of valid driver's license. Also must be medically qualified to perform the essential driving functions of

this position as per our Sanford Driving Policy per the leaders request.

The Opportunity

As a dedicated Senior Property Adjuster, you will work within defined guidelines and framework, investigate, evaluate, negotiate and settle complex property insurance claims presented by or against our members. You will confirm/analyze coverage, recognize liability exposure and negotiate equitable settlement in compliance with all state regulatory requirements. This hybrid role requires an individual to be in the office 3 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, Tampa, FL or Chesapeake, VA. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

The Inside Senior Property Adjuster role is a telephone concentrated environment without physical inspection of loss. This is an hourly, non-exempt position with paid overtime available. Training will be approximately 12 weeks, Monday – Friday and hours may vary by location. Upon successful completion of training, employees will transition to an eight-hour work shift ranging between 8:00 am – 5:30 pm (local time) Monday to Friday with availability for occasional evenings and weekends based on business needs.

What you'll do:

  • Proactively manages assigned claims caseload comprised of claims with moderate complexity damages that require commensurate knowledge and understanding of claims coverage.

  • Partners with vendors and internal business partners to facilitate moderate complexity claims resolution. May also involve external regulatory coordination to ensure appropriate documentation and compliance.

  • Investigates claim damages by conducting research from various sources, including the insured, third parties, and external resources. May identify and resolve potential discrepancies and identifies subrogation potential resulting from unusual characteristics.

  • Identifies coverage concerns, reviews prior loss history, determines and creates Special Investigation Unit (SIU) referrals, when appropriate. Determines coverage through analyzing investigation information involving moderate complexity policy terms and contingencies.

  • Determines and negotiates moderate complexity claims settlement. Develops recommendations and collaborates with management for determining settlement amounts outside of authority limits and accurately manages claims outcomes.

  • Maintains accurate, thorough, and current claim file documentation throughout the claims process.

  • Applies proficient knowledge of estimating technology platforms and virtual inspection tools; Utilizes platforms and tools to prepare claims estimates to manage moderate complexity property insurance claims.

  • Applies working knowledge of industry standards of inspection, damage mitigation and restoration techniques.

  • Serves as an informal resource for team members.

  • Recognizes and addresses jurisdictional challenges such as applicable legislation and construction considerations.

  • Supports workload surges and catastrophe (CAT) response operations as needed, including mandatory on-call dates and potential evening, weekend, and/or holiday work outside normal work hours.

  • May be assigned CAT deployment travel with minimal notice during designated CATs.

  • Works various types of claims, including ones of higher complexity, and may be assigned additional work outside normal duties as needed.

  • Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

  • Experience desk adjusting property claims involving Dwelling, Other Structures, Loss of Use, and Contents using virtual technologies (Hosta, Hover, Xactimate, ClaimsX)

  • Experience handling large loss complex claims (i.e., water, vandalism, malicious mischief, foreclosures, earth movement, appraisal, collapse, etc.)

  • May require the ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds to include lifting a ladder in and out of the trunk of a car.

  • May require the ability to climb ladders and traverse roofs, this includes the ability to work at heights while inspecting roofs and attics.

Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $63,590 - $114,450
