Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant - Urgent Care for a 50-day assignment in California, starting Mar 2, 2026. Our client is looking for a professional to join their team, handling high-volume, high-acuity cases. This role involves performing procedures such as laceration repair, ingrown toenail removal, fracture management, and I&D, within a busy schedule featuring 10 or 12-hour shifts.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage high volume, high acuity cases
- Utilize STAT labs, xray, CT scan, and US services
- Perform laceration repair
- Perform ingrown toenail removal
- Manage fractures
- Conduct I&D procedures
Additional Information
- Board Certification: Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP)
- EMR System: Epic
- Shift schedule preference: 10 or 12-hour shifts between 9:00 AM and 9:30 PM

- 50 - 70 cases daily with 50% cross-sectional imaging
- 12 procedures and 10 fluoroscopy cases weekly
- Mix of inpatient, outpatient, and STAT cases
- Comprehensive IR and fluoroscopy procedures
- Experience with CT/US-guided interventional procedures
- Proficient in CT, MRI, and X-ray interpretation
- Advanced interventional procedures including PICC/port placement
