Position Purpose:

Support Home Depot’s Risk Management Department, with a special emphasis on managing existing captive programs, overseeing program performance, supporting internal stakeholders, and assisting with all aspects of captive oversight consistent with the Risk Management philosophy.


As an integral part of the Risk Management team, the Manager will oversee analysis of retained risk exposures within the captive to ensure the risk profile of the captive aligns with the department philosophy. The Manager's oversight of the programs will include monitoring claims activity insured by the captive, financial oversight, program analysis, and management of complex data sets.


The incumbent will assist with insurance renewals, including the collection and validation of exposure data, completion of renewal applications, and regulatory/audit documentation, as well as leading semi-annual actuarial review process of validating accuracy of loss data and coordinating with involved parties.


Ideal candidates will be well-versed in developing presentation materials for leadership surrounding new projects, insurance coverage, and conveying complex data in a digestible manner by specified deadlines and be comfortable assisting with traditional risk finance organizational tasks supporting various Home Depot operations units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures placement and administration of insurance and surety bond programs including retention analyses, coverage negotiations and policy/certificate maintenance; primary liaison with insurance brokers and insurance carriers.
  • Provides proper control of administration of self insurance programs including annual review of cost effectiveness; ensures all associated government reporting obligations are met as prescribed by law or regulation.
  • Evaluates risk levels of various agreements and other contracts entered into by the company with specific focus on insurance and risk transfer provisions. Provides feedback and suggestions to Legal and outside counsel.
  • Implements appropriate processes for review of loss data to develop actuarial loss reserves for workers' compensation, Texas non-subscriber, automobile liability and general liability.
  • Develops corporate insurance program and evaluates the incorporated levels of risk transfer and risk retention based on overall company strategies and risk appetite.
  • Develops and implements policies and procedures for the effective management of the risk information system; acts as liaison with the risk management information system vendor. Oversees production of monthly field reports as well as ad hoc reports.
  • Manage certificate of insurance tracking program for vendors, installers, and others with contractual obligations for providing certificates of insurance.
  • Selects, develops, motivates and evaluates subordinate associates and vendor partners in a manner which ensures that the department is operating at its most effective abilities and in compliance with known company policies and procedures.

Job Description

The Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) invites applications and nominations for the position of Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs. This is a renewable, full-time, non-tenured, administrative position and reports to the Chancellor. The position may be primarily located in either Reno or Las Vegas, Nevada.

The NSHE is comprised of eight institutions: two universities, a state college, four community colleges and a research institute. The public system of higher education in Nevada continues to experience growth with significant challenges and opportunities in serving over 105,000 students and 15,000 employees.

The Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs serves as the chief academic and student affairs executive for NSHE, responsible for setting strategic direction, driving systemwide policy, and ensuring accountable implementation of initiatives that advance academic quality, student success, and research competitiveness.

As a key member of the Chancellor's Cabinet, the Vice Chancellor exercises enterprise-level leadership and decision-making authority, advising the Chancellor and Board of Regents on high-impact academic, student, and research policy issues. The role is accountable not only for policy development, but for translating strategy into execution across all NSHE institutions, ensuring consistency, compliance, and measurable outcomes.

This position leads the design and implementation of systemwide initiatives spanning academic programs, transfer and articulation, student services, financial aid, and research administration. The Vice Chancellor actively identifies emerging risks and opportunities, develops actionable solutions, and drives coordinated responses across multiple institutions and stakeholders.

The Vice Chancellor also ensures NSHE remains responsive to national trends and evolving higher education demands by integrating data-driven insights into strategic planning and policy decisions.

Overview

The Maintenance Technician is to assist the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the physical integrity of the property. This involves ensuring a safe, secure and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The Maintenance Technician will carry out assigned duties in a safe manner and other duties as requested by the Maintenance Supervisor. In the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician will assume all maintenance responsibilities.



Responsibilities

  • The Maintenance Technician will conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures and all state and federal regulations (such as Lead Based Paint, ADA, Fair Housing, HAZCOM Program, OSHA, etc.).
  • Must be knowledgeable of all pertinent laws and EPA and OSHA regulations.
  • Must be aware of the condition of the property at all times and take immediate steps to correct any unsafe condition.
  • Schedule and perform routine preventive maintenance on all appropriate equipment as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor and the Property Manager. Inspect and maintain all tools in excellent condition.
  • Must be aware of all utility meter cut-offs, apartment and fixture cut-offs, and sewer clean-outs.
  • Perform work area clean-up and safety related duties.
  • Ensure that storage areas remain locked when not in use.
  • Diagnose and perform minor or routine maintenance or repair, as directed, involving the following on a daily basis:
    • Electrical and plumbing
    • A/C and heating systems
    • Appliances
    • Water irrigation systems
    • Stairs, gates, fences, patios, railings
    • Tile, carpet, and flooring

Lactalis US Yogurt, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a material handling based in Londonderry.

As a Material Handler, you are a vital part vital part of our team! In this position, you will be responsible for receiving raw materials, supplying production with raw materials, performing cycle counts, maintaining orderly warehouse and operating power industrial equipment (training provided).


From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Responsible for all aspects of food safety and quality, as applicable and defined in plant and department procedures.
  • Stage or deliver raw materials needed for all production lines on a daily basis including cups, lids, fruit, and cardboard.
  • Work with other Material Handlers and filler operators to ensure materials needed are staged in a timely fashion.
  • Receive in-coming raw materials and supplies.
  • Use handheld device receive and transfer inventory items in and out of warehouse stock.
  • Facilitate raw material cycle counts and assist in reconciling inventory to aid Procurement in the release of purchase orders.
  • Maintain the organization and cleanliness of all dry goods warehouse.
  • Check for shortages and reject damaged goods on incoming freight deliveries.
  • Build various raw material orders to be shipped to co-packers.
  • Keep recycling area presentable at all times and accurately complete the proper waste tracking forms.
  • Unload collected recyclable material into balers and other dedicated recycling bins.
  • Maintain records and documents as necessary.
  • Receive plant chemicals and transfer them into secondary storage containers.
  • Prepare collection bins as needed. Operate the bin washer if necessary.
  • Create bales of plastic & cardboard from the vertical balers, and manually bale rebox cardboard.
  • Operate power industrial equipment such as forklifts, tuggers, crane, balers, compactor and bin washer in a safe manner at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Yes - you read that right! Our two week rotation in Production allows our team members to have every other Friday, Saturday, Sunday off!

Job Summary

The Contracting Officer-Sponsored Programs role will review, process, approve, negotiate, and administer assigned sponsored proposals and awards, which may include governmental, industry, non-U.S. and/or not-for-profit funding of grants, contracts, and other sponsored agreements and donations in
the support of research. Provide services and guidance to faculty and research staff. Review, analyze, and interpret new awards terms and conditions.



Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Analyze solicitations and review proposals to ensure proposals are complete and compliant with Institute policies, agency regulations, and solicitation requirements. Review sign any required Institute Representations and Certifications.

Job Duty 2 -
Identify proposal risks and review mitigation strategies with management. Submit all assigned, approved, compliant proposals prior to deadlines.

Job Duty 3 -
Review and interpret sponsored agreement language. Resolve contractual issues, negotiating contract changes, and executing agreements on behalf of the Institute's research corporations with an approved corporation officer.

Job Duty 4 -
Provide Post award administration. Monitor administration of awarded sponsored projects and serve as contact for all business/contractual matters throughout life cycle of sponsored program awards. Resolve issues brought forward by researchers and unit administrators. Prepare business correspondence and notices required by award terms.

Job Duty 5 -
Maintain current working knowledge of applicable federal regulations, state laws, Institute policies, and sponsor requirements.

Job Duty 6 -
Advise faculty, project directors and financial and administrative staff on proposal submission process, post award administration, regulatory compliance requirements and Institute policy, coordinating with other units supporting research including Conflict of Interest, Research Integrity Assurance, Research Security, Export Control, Corporate Engagement, Technology Licensing, and the Georgia Tech Office of Legal Affairs.

The Associate Buyer is a key member of the team tasked with elevating one of our iconic brands at TR Retail LLC, and successfully growing its business in our retail and ecommerce stores. The role works closely with the Brand Director, Product Merchandising, and Marketing to inform how the buy is built and executed at retail. With support from the Director of Merchandising and Inventory Lifecycle Management (the Director), the Associate Buyer will formulate and execute buying and assortment strategies to maximize sales, net profit, and store performance for the assigned categories. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 


Buying 

  • Own end to end merchandising and buying strategies, identify and seek opportunities to positively affect company’s overall point of view and financial outcome. 
  • Review seasonal collections, strategize investments based on OTB, sales analysis, trend projection, and historical performance for their assigned brand and/or category. 
  • Build, evaluate and revise sales plans at category and collection level. 
  • Develop monthly allocation and product launch plans in collaboration with Marketing, Visual Merchandising, and Store Operations, in accordance with marketing and promotion strategies. 
  • Identify new business opportunities through sales analysis, retail feedback and competitive research. 
  • Maintain margin by managing seasonal markdowns and eventual RTV strategy. 
  • Ensure all steps of data entry and POs for new collections are accurately entered in the system

  • Review weekly replenishment/ transfer recommendations made by Retail Support Team and make necessary adjustments 
  • Validate all replenishment POs written by Retail Support Team and send to Corporate Customer Service 
  • Analyze stock performance and recommend merchandise for markdown and eventual RTV 
  • Execute markdowns and other price changes in retail system 
  • Manage minimums for auto replenishable stock, review and adjust when necessary

The Director serves as the primary liaison with fire departments, emergency responders, law enforcement, regulatory agencies, Commissioners, and the media.


SUPERVISION

The Director reports to the "Court" and receives day-to-day direction from the County Judge. He or she supervises the County’s officials in charge of Fire Protection and Emergency Services, and supervises logistical and administrative staff.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE

  • Strong leadership, communication, and crisis management skills
  • Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience in fire safety, emergency management, and/or public safety, including supervisory experience.
  • Associate’s degree or higher in Emergency Management, Fire Science, Criminal Justice, Public Safety, Public Administration, or Business Administration, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

The Director must be able to perform the following essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.   1. Plans, coordinates, supervises, and evaluates Emergency Management operations.
  2. Ensures the coordination of emergency management systems during emergency and disaster operations and effectively manages all phases of emergency activities.
  3. In emergencies, coordinates preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery programs with local, state and Federal officials; coordinates emergency information and mutual aid resources and takes action as necessary; arranges for the effective use of ad hoc task force teams and other expert advisory councils, as necessary and appropriate.
  4. Takes part in emergency and disaster operations; plans, coordinates, evaluates, recommends, and applies procedures during all phases of emergency management for mitigation, response, relief, and recovery.

  7. Assists as needed regarding mass public gatherings; participates in EMTF and other state asset emergency management teams.
  8. Serve as directed and informs the public/media during emergency events.
  9. Plans, conducts, and evaluates emergency drills and exercises in coordination with public service agencies, including rural, volunteer, and municipal fire departments, as well as State/Federal partners; develops and maintains effective training, response, and preparedness programs for fire and emergency incidents; manages operations and resources to meet program goals by organizing workloads, assigning staff, training and motivating volunteers, and monitoring progress to implement necessary improvements.
  10. Plans and implements programs to effectively carry out policies and goals; reviews departmental performance and effectiveness; reports on operations, outcomes, and strategic initiatives to the Commissioners Court; and engages with elected/appointed officials, emergency management personnel, community leaders, and the public regarding all aspects of the Department’s activities and services.
  11. Coordinates the preparation and presentation of an annual budget for Emergency Management and Fire Services; plans for and reviews specifications for new or replaced equipment. Develops, recommends, and administers the annual budget and forecasts funds needed for equipment, materials, supplies, and staffing. Monitors expense, approves needed funds, and plans for budget purposes.
  12. Consults with local, State, and Federal officials on policy, regulations and legislation, and ensuring adherence to State and Federal statutes, regulations and guidelines.
  13. Prepares and delivers presentations to Court, departmental leadership, advisory boards, civic organizations, and the general public, including presentations on fire prevention, arson investigation, and emergency management programs as needed or requested. Collects, interprets, and analyzes data to develop studies, reports, and supporting documentation for departmental planning, performance evaluation, and informed decision-making, including annual reports and other materials as directed. Communicates data and findings in clear, language for a wide range of audiences. Formulates, advises and presents recommendations (including burn ban declarations and limitations on the sale and use of certain types of firework recommendations) impacting departmental programs and county policies, including the development of alternatives and solutions to support legislative, regulatory, and operational initiatives.
  14. Performs county audits of all homeland grant equipment and emergency management equipment.
  15. Researches, prepares, and submits grant applications for private, State, and Federal funding for the County’s Emergency Management and Homeland Security projects; administers grant projects and programs.
  16. Represents Washington County on various advisory committees (HSAC, Regional Interoperable Communication, BVRAC, etc.), and provides County input and assistance by service on various public safety, fire, EMS, and emergency management committees with local, regional, state, and federal government entities and other public agencies to ensure coordinated preparedness and response efforts.
  17. Attends conferences and meetings to keep abreast of current trends in the field; represents the County Emergency Management Department in a variety of local, county, state and other meetings.
  18. Performs all other duties and tasks as assigned.

The Opportunity

The Acquisitions Coordinator supports the Land Bank’s acquisitions team by managing property programs, coordinating real estate transactions, and maintaining tracking systems that help move properties back into productive use. The Position - Essential Responsibilities and Functions


  • Own and manage the Side Yard Program from inquiry through recorded deed, including outreach to adjacent property owners, securing municipal approvals, preparing agreements, coordinating transfers, and tracking outcomes.
  • Coordinate property transfers and recordings, working across Legal, Field Service, Finance, and municipal partners to ensure complete documentation and timely closings.
  • Support property acquisition and disposition workflows, including affidavit coordination, parcel research, and transaction tracking from initiation through completion.
  • Monitor and manage intake channels, including requests related to the tax foreclosure process, ensuring all requests are logged, routed, and followed through to resolution.
  • Maintain and report on vacant land inventory and acquisition tracking tools, including PPS and related reporting systems, to support planning and decision-making.
  • Support cross-department operations, including preparation of internal invoices and contributing to improvements in tracking systems and workflows.
  • Engage with residents, property owners, municipalities, and community stakeholders to facilitate program participation and ensure clear, professional communication throughout the process.
