• Provide comprehensive pre-award and post-award management for a modest number of sponsored grants and other funding sources, including preparing and submitting budget amendments and subawards for sponsored grants.
• Monitor and track expenditures against budgets to identify discrepancies and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
• Provide support for salary distributions and redistributions in compliance with policy.
• Exercise fiscal approval authority over Workday transactions at the school level.

About the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering

The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Georgia Institute of Technology is one of the largest producers of electrical engineers and computer engineers in the United States. Almost 2,600 students are enrolled in the School's graduate and undergraduate programs, and in the last academic year, 801 degrees were awarded. All ECE undergraduate and graduate programs are in the top five of the most recent college rankings by U.S. News & World Report.

The Woodruff School graduates high caliber mechanical engineers for a demanding profession. Mechanical engineers are the foundation of todays technological world. In this period of rapid technological change, the Woodruff School produces mechanical engineers who are vital to our future.

With approximately 3,000 students, 100 faculty members, and 80 staff members, the Woodruff School is one of the largest mechanical engineering programs in the country. The Financial Administrator is responsible for assisting with financial operations of a department or unit, interpreting, advising and disseminating financial policies and procedures; ensuring that unit accounting practices and procedures follow Institute guidelines and recommending improvements to unit procedures. The College of Design at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites nominations and applications for the position of the founding Chair of the School of Arts, Entertainment, and Creative Technologies in Atlanta, Georgia. We are seeking a visionary, creative, and entrepreneurial academic leader who will develop a nationally and internationally recognized center of excellence for studying the intersection of arts practice and emerging technologies.

The chair will have the opportunity to shape a new school that will expand Georgia Tech's academic and research activities and reputation at the intersection of technology and the arts, with the opportunity for substantial impact within Georgia Tech, the state of Georgia, and beyond. The new chair will be expected to provide overall leadership and vision for the development of a comprehensive program of teaching and research and will oversee the hiring of new faculty for the school, as well as new internal joint appointments that might complement those already in place. The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Georgia Institute of Technology is one of the largest producers of electrical engineers and computer engineers in the United States. The Ultrasound Imaging and Therapeutics Research Laboratory ( ) seeks self-motivated and talented individuals to participate in and support operations of a research laboratory. Our mission is to develop and translate approaches, devices, algorithms, and agents with clinical impact based on a synergistic combination of biomedical imaging, image-guided therapy, and bionanotechnology. Overall, we are a collaborative, full-spectrum research group leading the discovery, development, and integration of biomedical imaging technologies and theranostic agents for both fundamental research and clinical applications.

The Ultrasound Imaging and Therapeutics Research Laboratory is part of the School of Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE), and the Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) at Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University School of Medicine.

The research engineer will provide technical oversight of the research laboratory operations focused on in-vitro/preclinical/clinical imaging. The responsibilities will include daily interactions with graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, clinical collaborators, and other researchers, technical and other support to research staff, and direct reporting to the Principal Investigator.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Designing and fabricating electro-mechanical systems;
• Facilitate construction and maintenance of custom lab equipment (ultrasound transducers and imaging systems, laser systems, motorized linear axis and robotic positioners, etc.);

The College of Engineering is seeking to fill a temporary Administrative Manager position. The role will provide direct supervision and daytoday leadership to an administrative support team, including workload distribution, providing guidance and performance feedback, and serving as an escalation point for operational issues. This position will serve as the primary point of contact for administrative operations during a period of transition, ensuring continuity of operations and coverage.

The Administrative Manager will oversee daily administrative operations, monitor service levels, and ensure consistent, highquality support for faculty, staff, students, and leadership. • Liaise with staff at the student residence, students, and program director to address any concerns about student conduct, housing rules and student use of facilities/amenities with an aim to maintain positive relations and experience.
• Work with the program director to organize program co- and extra-curricular activities at host institution, the student residence, and in the city.
• Serve as the Teaching Assistant for two courses (CS 2340, CS 4400); serve as a backup instructor in the event of illness of the course instructor
• Go with students to physician appointments or hospital/clinic visits as needed.
• Organize and attend program social events.

Other Required Qualifications
Position requires the ability to pass a drug/alcohol pre-screening; may require working competently with dangerous materials and in a dangerous environment, such as around or on rotating machinery, live electrical circuits, hazardous materials, high-pressure liquids and gas, and bot surfaces. In addition, it may require lifting heavy objects of up to 75 pounds, and working in confined spaces, noisy environments, and elevated locations (such as climbing extension ladder and other types of ladders; or using scaffolding) either inside or outside of a building. During adverse weather, activities may require extensive after hours work or callback. This job may require wearing a full-face respirator in accordance with Georgia Tech campus policies and procedures.
