The College of Visual and Performing Arts at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor in Music Therapy to lead the development of music therapy. This is a non-tenure-track nine-month renewable position beginning on September 1, 2026.


The College seeks a music therapist and educator who is passionate and experienced with program development, community engagement, and interdisciplinary study. The ideal candidate has strong music skills, familiarity with accreditation and licensure, and a willingness to work with a variety of institutional stakeholders. The successful candidate will be expected to direct the development of a bachelor's degree in music therapy, recruit new students, as well as teach appropriate undergraduate and graduate offerings in related interdisciplinary programs (education, psychology, health sciences, and nursing).


The appointed individual will be responsible for teaching a variety music therapy courses as well as at least one general music course aligned with the candidates' areas of expertise and experience. Alongside leading program development and teaching, this individual will advise students, contribute to curriculum development, serve on departmental and college committees, as well as perform other tasks as assigned to support the objectives of the Department.


Minimum qualifications:



  • ABD in doctoral degree in music therapy or a closely related therapy field.
  • Board Certification in Music Therapy (MT-BC).
  • Experience with undergraduate teaching.
  • Qualified to teach at least one course in music fundamentals, class piano, or ear training.
  • Evidence of capacity to collaborate with colleagues and/or faculty from other disciplines and staff collegially.

Preferred qualifications:



  • Terminal degree (PhD) in music therapy or a closely related therapy field.
  • Experience in program development and accreditation
  • Minimum of three years of full-time clinical experience in music therapy or its equivalent.
  • Additional training in advanced models of music therapy (e.g. Creative Music Therapy, Guided Imagery and Music, Vocal Psychotherapy, Analytical Music Therapy).
  • Experience with music therapy in pre-K - 12 settings or with school-aged clients

The College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Community Nursing Department invites applications for full-time Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor faculty, non-tenure track. The Community Department includes the specialty areas of maternity and women's health; pediatric and family health; community and population health; and mental health nursing. Minimum Qualifications (Required):

The College of Nursing and Health Sciences has three departments, Adult Nursing, Community Nursing, and Medical Laboratory Science. Nursing has a total of 34 full-time faculty members and offers undergraduate and graduate programs in two Departments-Adult Nursing and Community Nursing. The undergraduate degree program has approximately 550 baccalaureate students enrolled in the prelicensure traditional and accelerated, and RN to BS tracks. The College also offers graduate nursing programs at the MS, DNP, and PhD level, with approximately 110 students enrolled across the graduate programs. Nursing is committed to building scholarship in the areas of chronic illness, nursing education, and global population health. Position description

The Herbert Wertheim School of Optometry and Vision Science at the University of California, Berkeley invites applications for a pool of qualified health science clinical faculty members at the Clinical Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Full Clinical Professor level to teach in the School of Optometry and Vision Science and/or Berkeley Optometry partner off-campus clinics, should an opening arise. The number of positions varies from semester to semester, depending on the needs of the department. The pool will remain in place for one calendar year; those interested in remaining in the pool beyond that time must reapply.



The responsibilities of the health science clinical faculty members include teaching optometric student clinicians in the patient care environment, performing direct patient care when student clinicians are unavailable both on or off the UC Berkeley campus, and/or teaching optometric student clinicians the basics of eye examinations sequence in the pre-clinical environment. They may also perform service to the school and community through education or various outreach programs on or off the UC Berkeley campus.



Appointees will be eligible for advancement through the ranks of the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series, based on performance in teaching, professional activity, scholarly and creative activity, and service.



The Herbert Wertheim School of Optometry and Vision Science has excellent clinical facilities and a large, diverse patient population. Over 70,000 patient visits are seen annually within our on campus clinic. About 65 optometry students are graduated annually. The Department is committed to addressing the family needs of faculty, including dual career couples and single parents.

The ideal candidate should possess effective communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Experience leading a school or department within a technical institute or a STEM-focused research university is preferred. The qualities of the successful candidate for Chair include:

Experience with strategic planning at the department, college, or campus levels;

Job Summary

The School of Mathematics at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for several
non-tenure track Hale Assistant Professorships to begin in Fall 2026, though pending administrative approval- an appointment may begin sooner as well. The position consists of an annually renewable three-year research and teaching appointment as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the School. In addition to a reduced teaching load in the first year, the position includes research funding. Job Summary

The School of Civil & Environmental Engineering () at the Georgia Institute of Technology (CEEatGT) invites applications from exceptional senior candidates working in the areas of environmental technologies and sustainability, broadly defined. The successful candidate will be named Hightower Chair and Georgia Research Alliance (GRA) Eminent Scholar, an endowed position. GRA eminent scholars are expected to engage in translational and/or economic development efforts in their field. Applicants should have earned a Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Appointment is expected at the rank of full professor with tenure.

The school seeks a visionary scholar-educator and proven leader in high impact and emerging areas of importance to society, sustainability and the environment. A non-exhaustive list of related topics in the School's current research portfolio include smart cities, sustainable systems, healthy communities, resilient infrastructure systems, global warming, disaster management, renewable energy, ecosystem services, and water-energy-food-environment nexus.
