The Position
- The Director of Nursing, ED/ICU/CCU will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Emergency Department and Critical Care units, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes and maintaining compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards at St. John's Episcopal Hospital.
- Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, this leader will oversee three direct reports and approximately 110 FTEs.

Requirements
- BSN required; Master's degree preferred.
- Active New York RN license required.

Compensation Range
- The base salary range for this position is $175,000 to $190,000 annually. In addition, a leader may be eligible for other benefits, including but not limited to health insurance coverage, retirement benefits, and bonuses. The total compensation for the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The base salary range listed above is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.

7. Manufacturing and Production Support
- Contribute to the design and development of production facilities for Scout electric vehicles.
- Support the transition of components from development to mass production launch.
8. Continuous Improvement
- Monitor consumer experience and feedback to identify potential system improvements.
- Proactively recommend enhancements to EDS systems and components.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Systems Engineering
- Or a related engineering field.
Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in:
- Electrical wire harness design
- Power distribution components design and release
- Automotive product development processes including design, testing, and production launch.
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in:
- Wire harness component design

Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Director of HM & ED Operations to lead operational performance and workflow optimization across Emergency Department and Hospital Medicine programs in Southern California. This on-site role requires strong physician engagement, staffing oversight, and data-driven performance improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead ED performance metrics including LWOBS, throughput times, door-to-provider, triage times, and CT utilization
- Oversee Hospitalist metrics including LOS, CC/MCC capture, and CMI
- Develop and manage staffing models, including backup coverage and surge plans
- Create and implement policies and workflows to improve throughput, quality, and operational performance
- Work directly with ED physicians, hospitalists, nursing leadership, and case management
- Monitor performance dashboards and present action plans to leadership
- Support new program launches and multi-site operational initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s (MHA, MBA, MPH) preferred
- 5+ years of healthcare operations experience, preferably in ED or hospital-based physician services
- Experience managing physician-led teams and hospital client relationships
- Strong financial and operational acumen; multi-site leadership experience preferred

- Physician management groups (EmCare, TeamHealth, SCP, USACS)
