Mechanical / HVAC Engineer
Description
Perigon is accepting resumes for a Mechanical/HVAC Engineer for a career in a consulting engineering environment working with industrial clients. The ideal candidate will have consulting experience in the design of industrial HVAC and controls, plumbing and fire protection. This position also involves being a technical point of contact with clients.
This is a full-time position to work with our existing Mechanical Engineering staff. This position offers opportunities for career growth, training, and exposure to a wide variety of clients, processes, and technologies.
Responsibilities
- Solving diverse and open-ended design problems facing industrial clients.
- Design of Mechanical/HVAC systems for manufacturing facilities including dust collection, fume collection, cleanroom design, energy conservation, and sustainable solutions.
- Identifying, selecting, and recommending mechanical / HVAC - related equipment and solutions for clients.
- Preparing key client deliverables; including but not limited to; design calculations, equipment specifications, technical reports, and drawing packages.
- Support of construction by responding to RFI's, submittals and site visits.
Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering
- Active PE License with NCEES record (preferred) and ability to obtain comity licensures in other States.
- 3+ years as a Mechanical/HVAC engineer with projects in manufacturing and industrial sectors.
- Proficiency with Autocad.
- Proficiency with Mechanical/HVAC software design tools (Ex: Autocad MEP, Trane Software Programs, Carrier Software Programs, etc.). Proficiency with Bentley AutoPIPE or Caesar II a plus.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil/Structural, Chemical, or related engineering field from an ABET/EAC accredited program.
- Minimum 20 years of experience (w/ PE); or 25+ years of experience without a PE
- Demonstrated leadership of large teams (50-100+ people) - direct, indirect and matrixed - across multiple disciplines.
- Proven ownership of technical execution and quality with strong procedure orientation and information-flow governance.
- Solid understanding of gas turbines, HRSGs, steam turbines, balance of plant, I&C, and electrical systems.
- Experience managing budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics (e.g., EVMS, productivity, cost/schedule variance, change management).

Preferred Qualifications

Job Summary:
This entry level Electrical Engineer is a great opportunity to apply your technical skills while coordinating numerous capital projects across the Plate department. This role is driven by self-directed work and collaborative efforts with a team of Electrical Engineers, Technical staff, maintenance, and production across the department.
The Electrical Engineer reports to the Lead Electrical Engineer in the department and will work Monday through Friday during daytime hours. You will support off-shifts as needed for your respective projects.
In this role, you will:
- Coordinate all phases of assigned area electrical engineering projects from concept, scope development, written specifications, bid solicitations, design, manufacturing, equipment commissioning, and project closure.
- Lead and participate in problem solving efforts with multi-discipline technical staff, maintenance and production.
- Use PI Vision and Data Link to analyze process issues and provide input to solve process problems.
- Create and develop electrical control solutions that will support process improvements and improve equipment reliability.
- Assist production and maintenance with equipment and process issues.
- PLC/HMI and controls redesign and upgrades of existing processes.
- Install and troubleshoot camera systems on industrial equipment.
- Incorporate SMART Manufacturing principles and tools into automated inspection systems to improve processes, data collection/analysis, and drive quick results in recovery improvements.
Qualifications
You have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
- 1-3 years of Electrical Engineering experience (including Internship)
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
- This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R.

- Manufacturing experience in a highly industrial environment

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Project programs

General Purpose
Environmental Specialist I, you will learn the safe and compliant packaging and shipping of hazardous waste while working at a customer’s location. You’ll learn how it’s handled safely, where it goes, and how we help keep these materials out of landfills and water supplies. In this role, you will collect, separate and pack hazardous material for storage and transport and you’ll be trained to complete the required documentation in accordance with our practices and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Travel to Abbott Northwestern or United Hospital in Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN on M, W, F, and ride along with a CDL B specialist on Tuesday and Thursdays

- Organize batteries – segregate by type, tape and package
- Collect and package lightbulbs for disposal
- Assist with reporting requirements and compliance
- Unload inbound trucks with supplies and load outbound trucks with drums or other containers of hazardous, non-hazardous and universal wastes
- Ensure accuracy of inbound and outbound shipping documents by correctly counting containers removed from our added to trucks
- Complete paperwork legibly, accurately, and in a timely manner
- Follow all Health & Safety/Job Safety Analysis (JSA's) procedures as outlined in Clean Earth procedures and policies
- Maintaining inventory and storage of hazardous materials in accordance with appropriate regulations, customer policies, practices and procedures and Clean Earth policies, practices, and procedures
- Segregate and package material for transport along with completion of required paperwork in accordance with appropriate regulations and Customer/Clean Earth policies, practices, and procedures
Basic Qualifications
- Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management
- Have a HS Diploma or GED
- Ability to wear personal protection equipment (PPE) including eye protection, face shield, Tyvek coveralls, steel toe boots and respirator.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Physical Demands
Ability to work in all climate conditions both indoors and outdoors.

A Los Angeles–based women’s fashion brand is seeking a Director of Ecommerce. This is a full-time, onsite position (5 days per week) and every other Friday, work from home. Located in the northwestern San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles, California, CA. The ideal candidate has hands-on Shopify experience and a strong background in fashion or apparel ecommerce.

As the Director of Ecom, you will own the performance, optimization, and day-to-day execution of the Shopify storefront, ensuring a seamless, high-converting shopping experience that supports long-term growth.
The Role
The Director of Ecommerce is responsible for driving on-site performance through best-in-class execution, thoughtful merchandising, and data-driven optimization. Sitting at the intersection of Marketing, Operations, and Customer Experience, this role translates strategy into a polished, efficient, and revenue-generating ecommerce experience.
This is a hands-on, ownership-driven position suited to someone who understands how to scale a fashion ecommerce business through strong fundamentals, attention to detail, and continuous improvement across the full customer journey.
What You’ll Do
Ecommerce Performance & Conversion Optimization
- Own the day-to-day performance of the Shopify site
- Optimize homepage, collection pages, PDPs, cart, and checkout
- Drive improvements in conversion rate, AOV, and overall funnel efficiency
- Identify friction points across the customer journey and implement solutions
- Plan, prioritize, and execute CRO tests and site enhancements
- Partner closely with Marketing to ensure traffic lands on high-converting, on-brand experiences
Merchandising & Product Execution
- Manage collection structure, product sequencing, and on-site merchandising
- Ensure best-sellers, seasonal drops, and key campaigns are clearly and effectively surfaced
- Partner with Operations to align inventory availability with site visibility
- Support margin, sell-through, and inventory goals through thoughtful merchandising decisions
- Maintain clean, accurate, and optimized product pages at all times
Campaign & Launch Execution
- Own on-site execution for promotions, product drops, and brand launches
- QA all site updates, campaigns, and integrations prior to launch
- Ensure landing pages align with paid media, email, and SMS initiatives
- Coordinate closely with Marketing on timing, messaging, and execution
Analytics & Reporting
- Track and report on core ecommerce KPIs, including revenue, conversion rate, AOV, and funnel performance
- Monitor funnel drop-off and checkout completion
- Translate performance data into clear insights and actionable recommendations
- Deliver weekly and monthly performance reporting to leadership
Customer Experience Alignment
- Review CX feedback, returns data, and customer pain points
- Improve on-site clarity around sizing, fit, shipping, and FAQs
- Reduce avoidable CX tickets and returns through better UX, content, and site structure
- Partner with Customer Experience to continuously improve the end-to-end shopping journey
Tech Stack Ownership
- Own and optimize ecommerce tools and apps (reviews, search, bundles, CRO tools, etc.)
- Evaluate and implement tools that improve performance or operational efficiency
- Ensure site speed, stability, and reliability
- Act as the internal owner for Shopify and all related integrations
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of ecommerce or DTC experience (fashion or apparel strongly preferred)
- Strong Excel skills (comfortable with large spreadsheets, formulas, filters, and data validation)
- Proven, hands-on experience managing Shopify storefronts
- Track record of improving conversion rate and funnel performance
- Highly analytical with strong business and merchandising judgment
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and CX
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and ownership-driven
- Able to move quickly in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality
- Based in Los Angeles and available to work in-office in the San Fernando Valley, CA
