This position will be a software development role on the Simulation Frameworks, Services, and Tools (SFST) deployment team that provides simulation software across the Boeing enterprise. The suite of tools support software verification, hardware verification, flight trainers, and warfare scenario simulation. The successful candidate will coordinate with commercial, defense, and other customers for requirements.
The candidate will participate in small developmental teams – and sometimes independently – to implement those requirements. Agile methodologies such as sprint planning, scrums, retrospectives, and demonstrations are expected.

Position Responsibilities:
- Designs, architects, and develops simulation models, simulation visualizations, virtual environments/platforms and frameworks to enhance test performance, safety, and durability of software and hardware systems throughout the entire product lifecycle
- Partners with stakeholders to review and identify simulation requirements and dynamics of the systems being simulated
- Performs design, modeling, simulation, testing, and analysis to assess and optimize overall system performance and capabilities
- Performs data collection and processing for use in simulations
- Validates, verifies, and refines simulation software code, models, simulations, test procedures and test environments, executing test procedures and documenting test results and models against real-world data, test data, benchmarks, or other similar models
- Documents and maintains technical code, algorithms, specifications and descriptions of simulation models
- Partners with cross functional engineering teams to enable integration of simulation software with hardware devices and systems

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

Purpose of SEA
Creighton's Department of Simulation Education may hire a student to assist with lab management tasks and inventory. The SEA will report to and work closely with the Simulation Operations Manager and Simulation Technologist at the Phoenix Campus. The student is responsible for ensuring all simulation rooms, clinical exam rooms, and psychomotor skills labs are stocked, and standard room equipment is in working order for learning activities. The student will also assist simulation staff in preparing equipment needed for upcoming labs, managing lab layout, and creating repackaged supplies and task trainers.
Duties
* Perform inventory assessment, organization, cleaning, and stocking of simulation supplies and equipment.
* Test in-room furniture and medical equipment for basic functionality, reporting any observed problems. Assist with repairs as appropriate.
* Complete lab set-up in a timely fashion, having all lab equipment, and supplies ready at the before the scheduled lab time.
* Return simulation rooms to default configuration and put away supplies/equipment upon lab completion.
* Maintain knowledge of lab procedures and safety (e.g., know where to find medical supplies and cleaning procedures).

Summary/objective
The Spanish Instructor provides instructional support to participants enrolled in the TRIO Upward Bound Classic Program Summer Academic Institute at Southern University at New Orleans (SUNO). Upward Bound is a federally funded college preparatory program designed to increase the high school graduation and postsecondary enrollment rates of first-generation college students and students from limited-income backgrounds.
The Spanish Instructor delivers engaging instruction in Spanish language fundamentals including speaking, reading, writing, and cultural literacy, while reinforcing academic preparedness necessary for college success. Instruction is provided to high school students participating in the two-month summer residential/academic program, which simulates a college learning environment.
The instructor contributes to the academic enrichment and college readiness mission of Upward Bound by supporting program participants in developing language skills, critical thinking abilities, and cross-cultural awareness.
Grant-Funded Position Statement
This position is 100% funded through the federally sponsored TRIO Upward Bound Classic Program administered by the U.S. Department of Education.
