Role: Project Manager III

Are you a skilled Project/Program Manager with experience in new product introduction, manufacturing, and cross-functional leadership? Here’s an exciting opportunity to join one of the world’s leading glass and advanced materials manufacturers!

Location: 100% Onsite – Fairport, NY

Contract Type: W2, 12-month contract (possibility of extension)

What You’ll Do:

• Lead technical teams to deliver advanced optics and manufacturing programs
• Drive programs from concept → development → delivery
• Manage budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring program milestones are met
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to define requirements and scope
• Execute New Product Introduction (NPI) and Stage-Gate / Tollgate processes
• Develop and manage business cases and value propositions for projects

What We’re Looking For:

• 5–7+ years of technical program or project management experience
• Strong cross-functional leadership and customer engagement skills
• Experience with budget/P&L tracking and business case development
• Familiarity with manufacturing transfer, product commercialization, and NPI processes
• Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools
• Degree in Engineering (Optical, Mechanical, or related) or significant relevant experience
