Territory Sales Builder – Sports Industry
Salary not disclosed
St George, UT 1 week ago

MUST LIVE WITHIN THE GREATER ST. GEORGE AREA TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE

Build Relationships. Own a Territory. Create Your Income.

Team Up Athletics is looking for competitive, entrepreneurial sales professionals who want to build their own business within the sports industry.

This is not a typical sales job.

Our Field Sales Pros operate like territory owners, developing relationships with high schools, youth sports leagues, and club programs to provide uniforms, apparel, and equipment.

If you thrive on competition, relationships, and unlimited income potential, this role offers a clear path to a six-figure income and long-term territory ownership.

What You'll Do

You will build and manage a defined geographic territory by developing relationships with:

  • High school athletic programs
  • Youth sports organizations
  • Club and travel teams
  • Booster clubs and parent organizations

Responsibilities include:

• Meeting with coaches and athletic directors

• Designing uniform and apparel programs

• Managing spirit pack and fan gear stores

• Providing equipment solutions to athletic programs

• Building long-term partnerships with schools and organizations

The goal is simple:

Become the trusted apparel partner for the entire athletic department.

The Opportunity

Every territory includes:

  • High schools
  • feeder youth leagues
  • club sports programs

A typical territory contains $2M–$3M+ in annual sports apparel spending.

Our most successful reps build relationships across their territory and capture $800K–$1.5M in annual sales.

Typical income progression:

Year 1 Expected Income $50K–$75K

Year 2 Expected Income $80K–$120K

Year 3 Expected Income $120K–$180K+

There is no cap on earnings.

What Makes This Role Unique

Unlike traditional sales jobs, this position offers the opportunity to:

• Build a long-term book of business

• Develop recurring annual revenue from schools and programs

• Grow a territory that compounds year after year

• Create relationships in your local sports community

Many of our top reps were:

  • former athletes
  • coaches
  • teachers
  • youth sports volunteers

If you already have relationships in the sports world, you start with a major advantage.

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Competitive and self-motivated

• Comfortable building relationships in person

• Organized and proactive with follow-up

• Passionate about sports and community

• Entrepreneurial in mindset

You should enjoy being out in the community, meeting coaches, attending games, and building relationships.

This role rewards initiative, creativity, and persistence.

Compensation Structure

• Commission-based income with high earning potential

• Ongoing revenue from repeat customers

• Opportunity to build a long-term territory

Top performers can build six-figure incomes by developing strong relationships with schools, youth leagues, and club programs.

Why Team Up Athletics

Team Up Athletics partners with athletic programs to provide:

  • custom uniforms
  • team apparel
  • spirit packs
  • fan gear stores
  • athletic equipment

We focus on building long-term relationships with athletic departments rather than simply selling products.

Our mission is to help teams look great, perform confidently, and represent their programs with pride.

If This Sounds Like You

This opportunity is ideal for someone who wants to:

  • control their income
  • build meaningful relationships in their community
  • work in the sports industry
  • grow something that compounds over time

If you’re competitive, driven, and excited about building a territory in the sports world, we’d love to talk.

Who This Is NOT For

This role is likely not a fit if you:

• Prefer a predictable salary over performance-based income

• Are uncomfortable initiating conversations with new people

• Prefer working behind a desk rather than in the community

• Are not interested in building long-term relationships with coaches and athletic programs

Our most successful reps are competitive, self-driven, and excited about building something of their own.

A Quick Challenge

If you believe you’d thrive in this role, include a short note in your application answering this question:

“What is one relationship in the local sports community you would start with if you joined Team Up Athletics, and why?”

Income Reality

This position rewards initiative and relationship building.

Sales professionals who actively build their territory typically reach $80K–$120K income within two years, with top performers exceeding that.

Those who prefer a traditional employee role may find this position less appealing.

If you’re currently selling for Lennar, LGI, KB Homes, or another production builder, this might be the opportunity you didn’t know you were looking for.

We’re expanding and looking for a high-performing new home sales professional to sell manufactured homes in a large, master-planned subdivision we own and control.

Why This Is Different

Most production builders:

Who This Is For

Top 20% producer

Comfortable working weekends

Not afraid of heavy follow-up

Self-motivated (no babysitting)

Hungry to win

Who This Is NOT For

Order takers

Clock watchers

People who need corporate handholding

Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 per year

A bit about us:

We’re transforming how government agencies digitize forms and automate workflows. Our new initiative brings AI directly into this process - using LLMs, vector search, and structured PDF parsing to accelerate public service delivery. We’re not just bolting AI onto the side. It’s becoming core to how our platform works.

We’re looking for a senior machine learning engineer to take the lead on this effort. You’ll be the architect of our AI capability - not just a contributor. Your work will touch thousands of public-facing government forms, helping real people get things done faster and more accurately. This isn’t an R&D team running experiments - it’s about delivering intelligent automation, right now.

Why join us?
  • 100% remote based in the US
  • Help shape the AI transformation of public sector services
  • Lead initiatives that ship real impact, not just prototypes
  • Greenfield development on a proven, profitable platform
  • Comprehensive Health, Vision, Dental coverage for individuals and families

Job Details

You’ll design and build our machine learning infrastructure - starting with vector search and retrieval-augmented generation and expanding into fine-tuned LLMs with human feedback loops. You’ll work across product and engineering to embed intelligent behaviors into our no-code form builder. This is not a research job or a sandbox role - it’s a real opportunity to push AI into production at scale.

What you’ll do
  • Build and tune vector-based retrieval pipelines using OpenAI embeddings and Azure AI Search
  • Design prompt strategies and agents to translate parsed PDF data into form component schemas
  • Fine-tune LLMs for structured output generation with low-latency performance in mind
  • Lead the development of an RLHF loop that incorporates builder UI feedback and audit data
  • Help architect systems that blend traditional APIs and probabilistic inference reliably
  • Work alongside full-stack and platform engineers to get it all running in production
  • Stay plugged into the latest model capabilities, and make smart calls on what to adopt

Tech you’ll use
  • Azure AI Studio, Azure OpenAI, GPT-4o
  • Python (for agents, functions, orchestration), .NET 8 (for integration layers)
  • Azure AI Search, CosmosDB, MSSQL
  • Kubernetes (AKS), Azure Blob, Octopus for CI/CD
  • for structured PDF parsing

What we’re looking for
  • 5+ years in applied ML, including experience with retrieval, embeddings, and prompt engineering
  • Strong Python skills and familiarity with production-grade ML pipelines
  • Experience designing and tuning RAG workflows with hybrid search
  • Familiarity with RLHF and fine-tuning on structured JSON output
  • Solid grasp of system-level thinking—how to bring ML into product environments cleanly

Nice to have: .NET understanding, especially for integration and orchestration layers

What success looks like in 6 months
  • You’ve shipped a working vector search + RAG pipeline integrated into our form builder
  • You’ve scoped and kicked off our first LLM fine-tuning cycle
  • We’re collecting human feedback to improve model accuracy
  • You’ve helped define the roadmap for AI integrations across the platform
