Senior Power BI Developer
12-month Contract to Hire

Brooksource is supporting a major integration initiative involving the onboarding of a recently acquired business onto an existing enterprise platform. As part of this effort, all net-new reporting will be built using Power BI, while existing reporting in Tableau, Business Objects, or OBIEE will be lightly supported to ensure consistent data flow. This developer will support the reporting workstream tied to the acquisition, operating within a structured waterfall methodology and leveraging Lean Spec documentation.
Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Power BI Developer who can independently design, build, and deliver enterprise-level reporting solutions as Brooksource supports our client’s integration initiatives. This consultant will own Power BI development end-to-end and help guide best practices, as Power BI is a growing platform within the environment. The role involves close collaboration with business pods, technical leads, and integration teams to translate requirements into reliable reporting solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new Power BI dashboards, data models, and reports based on documented Lean Specs
- Convert business requirements into structured reporting deliverables within a waterfall framework
- Leverage existing data pipelines to expose required fields and build accurate, meaningful reporting
- Provide light support for existing reporting in Tableau, OBIEE, or Business Objects (data flow inspection, filter checks, troubleshooting)
- Participate in SIT and UAT cycles to validate reporting output and ensure successful rollout
- Provide best-practice guidance on Power BI architecture, data modeling, and visualization standards
- Collaborate with BAs, engineering leadership, and business stakeholders throughout development cycles
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on Power BI experience, including:
- DAX
- Power Query
- Data modeling (star schemas, semantic modeling)
- Report/dashboard development
- Strong SQL and data environment understanding
- Experience working in structured SDLC environments (waterfall preferred)
- Ability to work independently and own reporting deliverables
- Strong communication and ability to interface with both technical and functional teams

CAD Drafter (Entry Level)

Brooksource is hiring a CAD Drafter to support one of our Engineering Services partners in Columbus, OH. We welcome entry-level candidates, this is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow your CAD drafting skills within a supportive engineering team.In this role, you will create underground construction drawings to support utility installation projects across multiple states.
Preferred Experience: There will be on the job training
- Basic experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD
- Familiarity with Civil 3D is a plus.
- Understanding of drafting standards through coursework or hands-on projects.
- Ability to perform 2D drafting, including drawing multiple views
- Comfortable using modern computers, software, and digital workflows.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Product Delivery Manager to join our Experience Operations team. In this role, you will be a key team member supporting the UX Research team and the broader Experience Design organization, ensuring the successful delivery of user-centered design, research, and operational transformation initiatives. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in project management within creative or user experience environments, who thrives in cross-functional collaboration and excels at driving initiatives from concept to completion.
Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage the full project lifecycle for UX research, design, and operational transformation initiatives, from initial scoping and planning through execution, delivery, and retrospective.

Overview:
We are seeking an entry-level QA / Software Tester to join our team. This role is ideal for a recent Computer Science graduate who is interested in software quality, testing, and ensuring applications perform reliably for users. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to test new features, identify issues, and support the delivery of high-quality software.
Responsibilities:
- Execute manual test cases to validate functionality, usability, and performance of web or software applications
- Identify, document, and track bugs or defects using a ticketing or test management system
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes
- Assist with writing and maintaining test cases, test plans, and testing documentation
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives
- Support regression testing during releases to ensure existing functionality continues to work properly
- Learn and assist with automated testing frameworks where applicable
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (recent graduate or graduating soon)
- Exposure to software testing concepts through coursework, internships, or projects
- Basic understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and Agile environments
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Internship or project experience related to software testing or QA
- Exposure to automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks

We’re seeking a Network Security Engineer to join a cybersecurity engineering and operations team focused on protecting and supporting large‑scale enterprise environments. In this role, you’ll design, deploy, and manage critical network‑security infrastructure while partnering closely with internal teams to ensure secure and reliable operations.
What You’ll Achieve
As a Network Security Engineer, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining network‑security technologies and providing advanced support for security infrastructure across the organization.
You Will:
- Participate in and report on cybersecurity projects and customer engagements.
- Design, deploy, maintain, and manage network‑security infrastructure.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for security devices, including firewalls and related technologies.
- Execute tasks and changes related to security network infrastructure.
- Participate in an on‑call rotation (approximately one weekend every six weeks).
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in network security.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, SSL).
