Pediatrics
Status: .9/FT (36 hours a week)
Shift: Nights
Hours: 6pm-6:30am
As the only Pediatric inpatient unit in the Dubuque area, pediatric staff provide family centered care to pediatric patients up to the age of 18. This includes conducting physical assessments, monitoring and administration of medications, creating care plans and providing relevant patient education. Pediatric staff work closely with physicians, respiratory therapists and laboratory personnel to fulfill each patient’s plan of care.
Working a primarily night position, staff are assigned every third weekend and have an assigned holiday rotation. Working primarily 1800-0630, schedule is otherwise created utilizing self-scheduling with the guidance of the unit based staffing committee.
Pediatric staff will be cross-trained to the Level 2 NICU to take patients admitted to that unit, in addition to crosstraining to care for postpartum couplets. Opportunities to assist in the Emergency Department with pediatric patients as well, including assessments and cares. All Pediatric staff are certified in NRP and PALS onsite, and are also required to be certified in BLS and mandatory reporter.
Full time position in the Birth Center at MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center. Primarily night position; this position is also required to work every third weekend and every third holiday. Care for the laboring patient in addition to postpartum couplets and surgical patients. Will be cross trained to assist in pediatrics during times of high census. Required to become Electronic Fetal Monitor certified within first year, in addition to ACLS and NRP; Mandatory Reporter and BLS also required.
POSITION PURPOSE:
Provides and directs safe, effective, and culturally competent care for women, newborns, and pediatric patients. Utilizes evidence-based practice and critical thinking to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate outcome-based care. Manages a diverse patient population across labor and delivery, postpartum, newborn nursery, pediatrics, and/or pediatric intensive care, with varying levels of acuity. Supervises and coordinates care provided by LPNs, Patient Care Technicians/Assistants, and other team members, while ensuring clear communication with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Maintains all ventilator related equipment to ensure safety of ventilator operation. Therapist utilizes own clinical skill to assess the effects of all ventilator changes ordered.
Respiratory Care Modalities
Performs respiratory care assessments, interventions, teaching (patients, families, care givers, students and other healthcare staff), and handoff that may include the following: volume expansion, airway clearance, inhaled medications, airway care to include tracheostomy and laryngectomy tube changes, intubation (if applicable), and medical gas administration. Therapist utilizes own clinical skill to assess the effects of all therapies ordered and/or performed.

Required Education:
Education, training and/or experience that has satisfied the eligibility requirements for the National Board for Respiratory Care (or its predecessor organizations)
Combination of education and experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.

Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program
Licensure/Certification Required:
Licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Respiratory Therapist required.
Current registry from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)/(*CRT) required.
OR
A current Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) eligible to sit for the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) exam. Must pass the NBRC Registry Exam within 6 months of hire date
Current CPR certification as required by practice setting.

What you'll do:
Eaton Aerospace Group is currently seeking CNC Setup Machinists to join our 2nd shift team. This position is based in our North Charleston, SC facility. Relocation assistance will be provided. This position is currently offering a sign-on bonus of $3,000*; less applicable withholding.
The setup machinist will lead the transition/changeover between production runs on various CNC machines such as mills and lathes then operate select machines through the remainder of the production run while ensuring quality parts from the work cell.
- Properly set tools in machine locations required for set-up & perform part changeover including program retrieval and input
- Establish work offsets (G54, G55, etc.) manually and utilizing probing technology
- Read, understand, and reset CNC machine program codes
- Calculate and input axis coordinates for CNC machines up to 3 axis's or use a spindle probe to determine work offsets
- Calculate and input axis coordinates X, Y, and Z or use a spindle probe to determine work offsets
- Utilize Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing results to make adjustments to work offsets
