The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Vehicle Management System (VMS) Senior Manager to support a proprietary Air Dominance portfolio program located in Berkeley, MO.
The VMS senior manager leads a multi-disciplined team to define, procure, develop, integrate and test an air vehicle VMS. The VMS team is responsible for requirements definition, verification, and validation; hardware selection and integration; VMS software development; and integrated testing in the laboratory and on the final product. The manager will also coordinate with mission systems software, central maintenance software, GN&C, and subsystems managers on program to ensure the integrated VMS product meets requirements. The VMS Leader will also ensure alignment with other portfolio programs on hardware strategies and standards as appropriate. This is a phenomenal opportunity to lead and execute development excellence on an amazingly difficult and critically important program.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage employees and managers performing engineering and technical activities in vehicle management

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry.
15+ years of experience in the aerospace industry
8+ years of experience in an engineering discipline related to Vehicle Management Systems.
5+ years of experience as manager

Position Overview: Lead the development of the Signature Integrity Program to support manufacturing and sustainment of the stealth characteristics of an advanced Air Dominance platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the programβs signature integrity vision.
Integrate Signature Integrity Software, Supportable LO (SLO), and Signature Assurance and Verification (SAV) teams with manufacturing, QA, Product Support, M&P, and System Engineering.
Oversee the development of supportability technology, maintenance and QA processes, and signature assessment methods.

We are seeking an experienced aerospace research leader to direct and grow multidisciplinary research focused on flight-in icing prediction capabilities for aircraft and propulsion systems. The successful candidate will combine deep technical expertise in aerodynamic icing analysis and testing with demonstrated leadership as a principal investigator and program manager to execute research projects, develop strategic technology roadmaps, and maintain strong partnerships with government, industry, regulators, and academia.
Position Responsibilities
Provide technical and strategic leadership for a research portfolio addressing aircraft and engine icing hazards.

The successful candidate will apply deep expertise in LO materials, integration, manufacturing, computational electromagnetic (CEM) modelling, and test support to design, build and test a representative pole model for an advanced next generation program in the St. Louis region.

Lead detailed LO design and integration for the RCS pole model, including material selection, incorporation of advanced technologies, supplier hardware integration.
