Job Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanning equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
- Review and interpret physician's orders to determine the required imaging procedure.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging procedures in the electronic medical record system.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality imaging and accurate diagnostics.
- Perform regular equipment maintenance and report any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
- Stay updated with advancements in CT technology and imaging techniques through ongoing education and training.
Requirements
- ARRT Certification in Radiography (R) and CT (CT) required
- Active state license (if applicable)
- 1+ year of CT experience in a hospital or imaging center
- Strong technical and patient-care skills
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced clinical environment
- CPR/BLS certification
Compensation details: 68 Yearly Salary
