• Inspect, wash and prepare for shop all equipment returning from rentals.
• Must take pride in store and yard appearance, maintaining a neatly organized and safe work area.
• Responsible for loading and unloading trucks.
• Will assist in scanning of all rental equipment during delivery and return processes as well as maintaining associated paperwork.
• Will assist in biweekly inventory scanning.
• Inspect returned equipment for damage during the rental period and complete proper documentation.
• Process and maintain all associated paperwork.
• May perform other related duties as requested and/or assigned.

Payrate: $22.14 - $24.84 per hour

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience in loading, unloading and transportation of construction equipment.

This position will work in an outside environment and may work in a Shop environment and exposed to elements of weather. May on a continuous basis walk, bend and lift up to 50lbs. The wearing of approved safety equipment (IE- Safety glasses or side shields) is required when needed. Noise level in the shop/warehouse may range from moderate to high. Must be flexible during peak season working overtime as needed. Occasional local travel may be required to transport equipment. As an Area Manager for OnTrac, you will report directly to the Operations Manager of the facility and be responsible for managing all the sort activities and volume within an assigned area. The Must-Haves:

Your Mission in Motion:

• Conduct pre-sort meetings, keeping employees informed of daily goals, upcoming events, and safety priorities. Maintain an open line of communication to engage employees.
• Record departure and arrival time of designated line-hauls. Accurately record trailer percentages throughout sort span and record final percentages on outbound paperwork.
• Manage the flow of volume from Inbound to Outbound for on-time linehaul departures.
• Execute various administrative duties, including but not limited to, safety training, operational audits, and end of shift reporting.

Operates motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment, some of which may require specialized training.

Responds attentively to training from foreman or more senior handlers in order to increase own knowledge of work processes.

Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or co-workers; attends periodic safety meetings as required; may recommend changes to improve safety procedures.

• Machine material to meet part specifications utilizing work instructions and/or patterns.
• Ensures accurate completion of paperwork; verify part quality and quantities.
• Setup and operate a variety of saws, drill press, CNC machines, hand drills and other hand tools.
• May operate forklift if certified.
