JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Licenses: Active Texas Medical License required
  • Board: Board-Certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology required
  • DEA: Active dedicated DEA required
  • Other Qualifications: Comfortable with emergency OB; ability to work collaboratively in integrated care model


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide full-scope outpatient OB/GYN care including clinic and surgical services
  • Participate in 1:4 call rotation and provide 24/7 emergency obstetric and gynecologic care when on call
  • Manage labor, delivery, bleeding, pain, high-risk pregnancies, ruptured membranes, and OB emergencies
  • Perform Cesarean sections, D&C, and manage ectopic pregnancies
  • Work with CNMs trained in surgical first assist; CNMs handle most routine deliveries
  • Engage with a collaborative, patient-centered care team to support optimal outcomes
  • Utilize innovative platforms that improve provider efficiency and patient engagement
