Clinical responsibilities will include ambulatory pediatric neurology care at the main campus in Boston, and community satellite clinics. Inpatient service will include NICU consultation at Tufts Medical Center. Subspeciality training and/or interests in specialized areas of child neurology such as epilepsy, neonatal neurology, neuromuscular disorders and migraine will be fostered through opportunities for subspecialized clinics and program building. Opportunities also exist for candidates to devote a portion of their clinical and/or academic time to working at Boston Children’s Hospital.
This position will include teaching responsibilities for Tufts medical students, and Tufts Adult Neurology residents as part of a larger academic milieu including Tufts University School of Medicine and the collaboration between Tufts Pediatrics, Tufts Adult Neurology, and Boston Children’s Hospital.
The successful candidate will be joining a faculty of 4 pediatric neurologists, with varying subspecialty interests. Patient support includes a core group of pediatric nurses and administrative assistants assisting with patient calls, prescription refills, and prior authorizations. Call responsibility approximates one week per month and includes NICU coverage, emergency department calls and parent calls. Weekend coverage is over the phone.

New England Neurological Associates (NENA) has joined Lowell General Hospital and Tufts Medicine, and is seeking a Rheumatologist to join our team.
Integrated Healthcare: NENA has a collaborative group of 28 Physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians is part of the Tufts Medicine Health System with over 700 affiliated doctors and a clinical affiliation with Tufts Medical Center.

Community Setting. As an Outpatient Rheumatologist, you will serve the culturally diverse greater Lowell, MA area from our Chelmsford and Westford offices.

Working with a multidisciplinary team, offering continuity of care for patients all within one practice, you will have Nurse Practitioner support with flexible scheduling allowing for documentation time within your workday. Work shift
Part-time or full-time. Full-time is typically Monday-Friday, 8:00a-5:00p. Practice call will be 1:2, with approximately 3-6 calls per month for critical lab values.

New England Neurological Associates (NENA) has joined Lowell General Hospital and Tufts Medicine, and is seeking a Rheumatologist to join our team.
Integrated Healthcare: NENA has a collaborative group of 28 Physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians is part of the Tufts Medicine Health System with over 700 affiliated doctors and a clinical affiliation with Tufts Medical Center.
Collaboration: NENA provides patient care to over 64,000 patients throughout the Merrimack Valley, and through our partnership with Tufts Medicine, we will continue to expand access to healthcare including plans to build a neuro-immunology program and development of a Memory Center.
Community Setting. As an Outpatient Rheumatologist, you will serve the culturally diverse greater Lowell, MA area from our Chelmsford and Westford offices.

Our Rheumatology Division treats patients for a wide range of conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, systemic inflammatory arthritis, bone diseases, joint pain, musculoskeletal pain syndromes, local and systemic sclerosis, vasculitis, inflammatory diseases and other autoimmune diseases.
Working with a multidisciplinary team, offering continuity of care for patients all within one practice, you will have Nurse Practitioner support with flexible scheduling allowing for documentation time within your workday. NENA strives to be the place where patients want to go, doctors want to practice, and employees want to work.
Work shift
Part-time or full-time. Full-time is typically Monday-Friday, 8:00a-5:00p. Practice call will be 1:2, with approximately 3-6 calls per month for critical lab values.
Physician (MD or DO) or foreign equivalent and board certification in Rheumatology to be fully licensed and credentialed as an attending physician at Lowell General Hospital.
