In partnership with the treatment team and any other involved service systems, the wellness program intern develops and monitors a comprehensive wellness plan for client and family.
Some responsibilities include: Utilize assessment phase as a method of developing a therapeutic relationship with child / adolescent.
Provide initial and ongoing assessment of clients, supporting clients through formal: observations, data collection, one-to-one interactions, and trial interventions.
Support and facilitate the CGRC clinical team in the implementation of the wellness plan prescribed for the child or adolescent.
Monitor and support clients' daily progress on goals and objectives, as prescribed in the treatment plans.
Provide individual skill-building counseling, which may include home visits to specific client families as needed.

Under the supervision and evaluation of the Colleague Health & Wellness Manager, assists in meeting the occupational health needs of the MercyOne Northeast Iowa. Adheres to MercyOne's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of MercyOne.
Colleague Infection Control (TB surveillance, post exposure follow-up, post exposure prophylaxis,
respiratory fit testing, immunization administration, compiles infection control data, etc.)
Investigates and assists in reducing possible environmental hazards
Performs pre-placement history and physical assessment for new colleagues
Performs health assessments for current colleagues
Assesses occupational injury/illnesses and administers first aid
Performs case management of worker's compensation claims including OSHA log documentation
Promotes culture of wellness / performs health promotion activities
Hours/Schedule:
.9 FTE, 8 hour shifts
Days
Monday - Friday
Weekend call rotations
Minimum Qualifications:
Active IA RN license
BSN preferred

Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor the Class 1 injection well system, including pumps, filters, and other equipment.
Conduct routine inspections, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure efficient system operation.
Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including TCEQ requirements.
Collect and analyze samples, record operational data, and prepare regulatory reports as needed.
Respond to alarms, equipment failures, and other system issues in a timely manner.
Work closely with District Manager, engineers, consultants, and regulatory agencies to ensure operational integrity.
Maintain accurate records of injection volumes, system pressures, and maintenance activities.
Follow all safety protocols and participate in ongoing training.
Qualifications:
Previous experience operating injection wells, industrial wastewater treatment systems, or similar processes preferred.
Knowledge of Class 1 injection well regulations and environmental compliance standards.
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for pumps, valves, and instrumentation.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and regulatory documents.
Proficiency in using SCADA or other monitoring systems (preferred).
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain organized records.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications in wastewater treatment, well operations, or related fields are a must.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders, bending, and standing for extended periods.
May require on-call availability for emergencies or system alarms.
