  • Provide technical assistance to collaborating stake holders including vendors, contractors and cross functional departments.
  • Participate in Corporate Purchasing and Legal contract reviews.
  • Provide technical assistance to the production and maintenance areas for equipment performance, problem solving, and energy usage optimization.

What we're looking for:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Chemical Engineering or related degree is preferred.
  • Experience:
  • 3+ years of Project Engineering experience with 2 or more years in a chemical manufacturing or industrial facility.
  • Process Safety expertise to drive safety priorities and compliance with our internal and relevant industry standards, regulations, audits, and safety protocols.
  • Experience working in a chemical, pharma or medical device related industry.

  • Strong Process Safety Management (PSM) and Management of change (MOC)experience required.

  • Understanding of cGMP, ISO, OSHA regulations.

  • Quality/ safety experience.

  • Experience working within cross functional project teams on multiple projects with responsibility for entire project lifecycle and budgets.
  • Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience communicating complicated technical subjects to diverse audiences and stakeholders.

  • The SPT I must have to the ability learn and understand the compliance regulations related to test ordering which may change on a daily basis. This position is critical to quality for customer satisfaction.
  • Additionally, since many changes do occur from day to day, great flexibility on the part of the SPT I is required. The SPT I will be exposed to many different demands made by the customer.
  • Majority of SPT I work on the night shift but based on staffing needs, weekends, holidays, on call and overtime availability is a requirement.
  • Department is a production environment, with emphasis on productivity/quality standards and departmental completion times.

SUMMARY Provides executive leadership for Jeffco Public Schools' comprehensive school safety, security, and emergency management enterprise. Develops and oversees the district's school safety strategy, integrating prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery across 168 campuses over 774 square miles and serving approximately 74,000 students and 14,000 employees. Directs a complex, 24/7 Department of School Safety with responsibility for strategic planning, business operations, workforce management, and performance oversight. Safety

  • Promotes Cantera’s culture of “Safety First”

Supplemental Information

Salary: The advertised salary is based on full-time employment and includes shortage and school year differentials, if applicable.

TESTING PROCESS:
Those individuals who have passed both the written and physical agility tests will have their information forwarded to the City of Renton by Public Safety Testing. A 70% on the written exam is required to move forward in the process. An oral board interview may be scheduled for the top candidates. Candidates must obtain an 70% passing score in the oral board to be placed on the Eligibility List. (Candidates that do not pass the oral board are eligible to re-test 90 days from the previous oral board date.) A combined (interview weighted at 70% and the written test weighted at 30%) minimum score of 70% is required for placement on the eligibility list.
