Pharmacy Technician (Compounding)

Job Overview A-Line Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our team.

In this role, you will assist the pharmacist in providing safe, high-quality pharmacy services in compliance with company policies, state regulations, and USP standards.

The Compounding Pharmacy Technician will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist in both sterile and non-sterile environments, playing a key role in medication preparation and patient service coordination.

Key Responsibilities Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations Perform non-sterile compounding in accordance with USP and guidelines Assist with sterile compounding procedures (USP compliance) Accurately complete compounding logs, calculations, and documentation Operate, calibrate, clean, and maintain compounding equipment Conduct in-process quality checks and sampling for batch testing Maintain cleanroom and compounding area standards (cleaning, sterilization, housekeeping) Track, order, and manage inventory of chemicals, supplies, and consumables Ensure all compounds are prepared according to master formulas and regulatory standards Collaborate with pharmacy team members to ensure efficient workflow Participate in training and continuous learning opportunities Maintain accurate records of lot numbers and expiration dates Support overall pharmacy operations and complete additional duties as assigned Qualifications & Requirements 1+ year of experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician IV Certification Current Texas Pharmacy Technician License National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or equivalent) High School Diploma or equivalent Experience in sterile or non-sterile compounding labs Experience compounding creams, capsules, and troches Bilingual (English/Spanish)
