Interior:

  • Respond to spills and maintain clean organized cooler and storage areas
  • Ensure floors, displays, and merchandise are organized and maintained according to merchandising standards and planograms

Exterior:

  • Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the exterior area, including parking lot, fueling areas, entrances, and dumpster areas
  • Ensure safety by shoveling and salting walkways, pump areas, and car wash entrance/exit if applicable and notifying maintenance of any lighting issues
  • Maintain fuel station and dispenser areas by cleaning equipment, monitoring conditions, replenishing supplies, and reporting issues as needed
  • Monitor exterior equipment and fixtures for cleanliness, functionality, and signs of damage or tampering and report issues as needed
  • Perform tasks such as picking up trash, emptying trash receptacles, basic landscaping upkeep, minor painting or touch-up tasks, and spill response as needed

Operational Support

  • Prepare and serve food items in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Audit inventory on a regular basis; including lottery, cigarettes, other tobacco products
  • Review DVR system to monitor store activity.
  • Support inventory management activities including receiving deliveries, stocking merchandise, rotations, product placement, and removing expired or damaged products
  • Monitor in-ground gasoline storage inventory.
  • Troubleshoot and report any equipment or maintenance issues.
  • Support store operations during high-volume periods, staffing shortages, or special promotions as needed
  • Responsible for recruiting and training new team members

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Must be available to work a minimum of 40 hours per week and provide support 24 hours per day, 7 days per week by being on duty or on call.
  • Provide support and coverage to store as needed, occasionally beyond regularly scheduled work times.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Must have access to a reliable vehicle for banking purposes
  • Basic reading, writing and math skills
  • Ability to operate point of sale, store, and car wash equipment

  • Maintain proper uniform standards while on duty

  • New Graduates: 1) MA certificate of completion required from an accredited program or school. 2) Completion of either a 100-hour MA externship or 6 months MA experience in lieu of the externship hours even with MA certification.

  • Medical Assistant with Experience: 1 Year of MA experience OR Current MA Certification OR obtain or renew certification within 90 days from hire from approved credentialing agencies listed above.

  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Medical Assistant’s may have duties in one or more of the following areas:

Medical Assistant

· Demonstrates ability to recognize urgent/emergent needs of patients and initiate appropriate emergency procedures as needed.

· Demonstrates current level of knowledge of various payor regulations by functioning within those guidelines.

· Follows clinic procedure/protocol for the organization and management of the electronic medical record (i.e. test results, retrieval, filing, creation, repair, charging of electronic medical record).

· Acts to facilitate interdisciplinary communication. Utilizes other members of the health care team in assessing the patient and analyzes patient data. Assesses learning needs of the patient and significant others. Gives accurate and complete information to patient and family.

· Evaluates patient and family understanding of treatment plan and/or instructions.

· Assists with a variety of procedures, exams and/or operation of diagnostic equipment as assigned (i.e. EKG, spirometry, tympanometry, etc.).

· Maintains appropriate aseptic technique for preparation, procedures and medications administered.

· Accurately documents all patient interactions in electronic medical record.

· Reports results and pertinent information to patients and health care team members.

· Functions according to limitations or scope of license or certification.

· Performs basic medical assistant functions (vitals, rooming, assist with procedures, immunizations, medication injections etc), under direction and supervision of provider.

· Maintains professional appearance of patient exam and procedure rooms.

· Maintains supplies in assigned area

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

· Successful completion of a medical assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Programs (CAAHP) or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).

· Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification must be obtained within first year of employment and maintained thereafter.

· Clinic/physician office experience preferred.

· Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within three (3) months of hire.

PRN CT Tech for Ontario, Oregon with Saint Alphonsus, a member of Trinity Health

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Our CT Tech performs procedures on patients of all ages, according to approved protocols, radiation safety, and established exam indicators. 

Additional duties include:

  • Maintains knowledge of equipment and instruments/supplies pertinent to high quality exams. 

  • Evaluates the appropriateness of requested exams to assist radiologists. 

  • Schedules and obtains history from patients. 

  • Provides effective internal and external patient communication consistent with age and mental capacity.  

  • May travel between SAHS sites.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Registered as a Computed Tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). If Oregon is the primary work state, colleague must obtain a Medical Imaging License for CT issued by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) prior to hire date.

  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS or as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.
