Responsibilities

  • Provide general anatomic pathology coverage, including surgical pathology case review and sign-out — consistent with hospital pathology job duties
  • Gross specimens and perform frozen section analysis using cryostat equipment
  • Interpret cytology specimens, including GYN cytology utilizing ThinPrep and integrated imagers
  • Document findings and finalize pathology reports in Epic/Beaker in compliance with CLIA and NYS standards
  • Collaborate with on-site laboratory staff to ensure timely, accurate, high-quality diagnostic services
