The incumbent of this position is able to delegate duties during an emergency situation in the office environment.

Functions on the multidisciplinary team as an advocate and educator for oncology patients.
Responsible for ensuring all adult patients with an oncology diagnosis receive quality and comprehensive services.
This role coordinates patient care throughout the entire continuum of cancer care, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
Patient Navigator will serve as a clinical resource with expertise in hematology/oncology care management.
Serves as a liaison throughout the facility and within the community regarding oncology services provided.

Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Treatment plans: Collaborate with radiation oncologists and dosimetrists to design and implement treatment plans. Including 3D, VMAT, SRS, SBRT and HDR treatments.
- Perform patient specific QA. Including VMAT measurements, plan checks, chart checks and in-vivo dosimetry.
- Participate in the simulation and treatment of SRS and HDR patients.
- Participate in the QA and delivery of radiopharmaceutical treatment.
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with a team of radiation oncologists, radiation therapists, dosimetrists and nurses to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Calibrate and Maintain Radiation Therapy Equipment: Perform regular calibration and coordinate maintenance of all radiation therapy equipment to ensure their optimal performance and safety.
- Conduct Quality Assurance Checks: Regularly perform quality assurance tests on radiation therapy equipment to ensure adherence to national safety standards.
