Responsibilities
- Serve as first assist in surgical oncology and general surgery cases (OR first assist duties)
- Provide inpatient medical and surgical care on hospital wards
- Support surgeons in both major and minor operative cases, including robotics-assisted procedures
- Conduct clinic visits, patient assessments, pre-op and post-op follow-ups
- Manage patient phone calls and coordinate multidisciplinary care as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all patient encounters (H&Ps, op notes, progress notes)
