CRNA Job Requirements (New York)
- Experience: CRNA experience preferred
- Licensure: Active New York RN license required (candidates needing to obtain a state license are not accepted)

- Certification: Current CRNA certification/recertification through the appropriate national certifying body
- Clinical Readiness: Comfortable providing OB coverage and responding to urgent/emergent needs
- Professional Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered decision-making in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities (OB & General Anesthesia)
- Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans
- Obtain and/or verify patient consent; discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Provide anesthesia services including induction, maintenance, and emergence for OB and general cases
- Continuously monitor patient physiological status and respond to changes with appropriate clinical interventions
- Deliver primarily obstetric anesthesia coverage with support for general anesthesia cases as needed
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, obstetric teams, nursing staff, and perioperative personnel to ensure safe, efficient patient care
- Document anesthesia care accurately using site charting processes (iPro and paper)
