Job Description:-
Production Supervisor, Fort Wayne, IN 3rd shift:11pm-7am, plus the time for shift handoff before and after 8 hour shifts typically .
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate employee activities.
• Assist in all items associated with the quality system.
• Continuous improvements to the production program.
• Assist in employee problem response and resolution.
• Maintain acceptable customer quality standards; maintain the quality of production; take necessary corrective action to improve.
• Maintains high standards for housekeeping, safety, and general maintenance.
• Monitor employee attendance and assist in maintaining attendance records.
• Maintain discipline within the department
• Maintain daily timekeeping and production records
QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:-
• Have a bachelor’s degree in business or minimum of 5 years of manufacturing supervisory role.
• Knowledge in machine set-up.
• Self-motivated.
• Good organizational skills.
• Effective oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Must have the ability to work overtime and weekends as required.
• Ability to travel for education, training, and production department representation on customer/supplier calls. Must have excellent attendance record.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and Kanban.
• Must be able to lead projects.

SUMMARY
Supervises and coordinates activities of expediting flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments of industrial plant, and of Production Planners engaged in scheduling production operations by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a positive attitude, be a team player and exhibit high integrity at all times
- Maintains the MRP process
- Builds and maintains plant master schedule.
- Schedules and orders all incoming materials for production use.
- Evaluates written data such as job orders, product specifications, operations sheets, parts and materials inventory lists, machine rates, and worker production rates to establish efficient allocation and scheduling of parts, materials, machines, and sequences of operations and workflow.
- Confers with production personnel to resolve problems affecting production schedules
- Issues written and oral instructions
- Maintains effective customer relations
- Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates
- Adjusts errors and complaints
- Establishes and maintains inventory control
- Maintains housekeeping in work area
- Strives for continuous improvement in all areas of material management
- Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance in accordance with our attendance policy
- Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing to comply with all safety laws and all of our safety policies and rules.
- Access to customer portals and comply with customer requirements.
- Access, review and follow up on customer scorecard.
- Responsible for conformity to product requirements and has the authority to stop production to correct quality problems.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four- year college or university
Five (5) to seven (7) years experience in the automotive manufacturing industry
Experience managing MRP and the materials process from cradle to grave in an manufacturing environment.
APICS Certification preferred
Experience with Customer portals (Honda, Toyota, etc.)

Overview:
As a Customer Service Representative, you will work in a fast-paced environment, coordinating our day-to-day shipments and supporting the efforts of our office by providing visibility and maintaining accurate documentation for all loads. The key responsibilities of this role are to provide clear and concise communication, troubleshoot customer concerns, and proactively monitor the movement of freight to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Enter new load orders into our proprietary web-based software
- Initiate “check calls” to track and trace drivers on all pickups and deliveries
- Communicate internally with drivers to ensure accurate documentation
- Closely monitor freight via multiple detailed websites to ensure accurate delivery times and to notify customers of potential delays
- Maintain and collect proper paperwork for each shipment
- Work cooperatively with Sales and Dispatch to provide solutions for customers’ needs and resolve issues

Skills/Abilities:
- 1-3 years of work experience in customer service, operations, data entry, call center, dispatch or logistics
- Must have strong attention to detail
