The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for a F/A-18E/F and EA-18G Mission Systems Integration Manager to join Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) in Berkeley, Missouri.

The candidate will enable the Mission Systems organization to continue to expand its business base and will participate in advancing fighter aircraft technology by leading an Integration, Analysis and System Test Engineering team. The team is responsible for developing system/subsystem requirements, participating with Software engineers with real-time Operational Flight Program (OFP) development, subsystem/system testing, and evaluating system performance in Flight Test. Simulation and modeling is utilized to assist in requirements development, software development and offsets some Flight Test verification.

Position Responsibilities:

• Ensure that the team delivers safe and high-quality program products within cost and schedule

• Coordination with program management, suppliers, customers and other Boeing teams

• Provide technical, programmatic and process leadership to team members

• Monitor team and supplier performance to ensure proper system integration and compliance with requirements

• Support production with issue resolution for delivered hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle

• Perform managerial HR functions

• Lead, develop, and motivate employees

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. A small amount of Travel will be required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry

• 9+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor's or 7+ years of work-related experience with a Masters or PhD

• 7+ years of technical engineering experience

• 5+ years of experience in the Mission Systems field on military aircraft

• 5+ years of experience leading or managing teams and/or projects

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• With the above Bachelor degree, also have an MBA or equivalent degree

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Vehicle Management System (VMS) Senior Manager to support a proprietary Air Dominance portfolio program located in Berkeley, MO.

The VMS senior manager leads a multi-disciplined team to define, procure, develop, integrate and test an air vehicle VMS. The VMS team is responsible for requirements definition, verification, and validation; hardware selection and integration; VMS software development; and integrated testing in the laboratory and on the final product. The manager will also coordinate with mission systems software, central maintenance software, GN&C, and subsystems managers on program to ensure the integrated VMS product meets requirements. The VMS Leader will also ensure alignment with other portfolio programs on hardware strategies and standards as appropriate. You will lead the development, integration, verification, and delivery of System Health models and comprehensive health-management capabilities that ensure safe and reliable mission execution. This role encompasses systems engineering, RAM (reliability, availability, and maintainability) modeling, supplier collaboration, and cross-disciplinary leadership.

Position Responsibilities

• Lead the technical team to design, develop, test, and deliver Integrated Health Management (IHM) and System Health models using Reliability, Availability, Maintainability & Cost (RAMC) tools and best practices.
• Translate customer requirements into compliant system-level health architectures and verification plans.
• Drive systems-of-systems trades and analyses to optimize system health, reliability, maintainability, availability and lifecycle cost.
• Coordinate and verify supplier deliverables (models, test evidence, requirements traceability) and lead supplier technical reviews.

We are seeking a Mission Systems Integration Engineer with strong expertise in model-based systems engineering, requirements, and functional decomposition. This role will collaborate with sensor, software, and systems engineering teams to deliver operationally relevant fused tracks and sensor products.

The day-to-day activities of this position will be a combination of traditional design engineering, collaborating with cross-functional peers, and presenting technical challenges and solutions to leadership. Frequent interaction with program leadership, customers, and industry partners during critical design phases will be key elements of this position. The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Design & Analysis Engineer to become part of Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) Vehicle Management System (VMS) team in Berkeley, MO or Hazelwood, MO.

You will enable the VMS organization to continue to advance its technologies in support of our Phantom Works and Fixed-Wing programs. The team is responsible for developing integration test assets, real-time software test environments, subsystem/system testing, and evaluating system performance in simulation lab environment. Simulation and modeling are utilized to assist in requirements development, software and hardware development, and equipment verification and validation.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develop electrical schematics and designs for cabling, test hardware, and/or test stations

• Select components for hardware designs and support the procurement and fabrication of hardware designs

• Integrate hardware systems and/or software together in a test setting

• Operate complex test stations, electronic test equipment, and test software

• Test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements

• Solve problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

• 1+ years of experience testing and troubleshooting electronics and electrical systems

• Experience interpreting model-based engineering or 2D engineering drawings to develop technical illustrations

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• 1+ years of experience conducting component, sub-system, system or system-of-systems tests

• 1+ years analyzing engineering designs to define testing requirements

• Experience preparing test plans, schedules and documentation

• Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and/or real-time operating systems

• Experience with software programming and creating scripts for automated testing

• Experience with Flight Controls or Vehicle Management Systems
